Rooster Express 138's ties to kahnawake go back a long way. Mike Cunningham owned a rotisserie chicken restaurant in Lasalle from 1994 - 2009 and made half his deliveries across the brige. Once he sold, he worked in the kitchens of various restaurants in the community. When a space became available, Mike and Rachid Chajar jumped on the opportunity to start their own buisness. The timing was right and the location was perfect.They are focusing on fast delivery, great service, and especially consistancy on their product. From rotisserie chicken, to baby back ribs, to fried chicken, to chimichangas, to homemade cheesecake... The menu has a lot of variety. They are doing their best to make sure the menu is pleasing to everyone.

They used to be good & cheap years ago but now they are not just extremely expensive but also not as good. Their whole chicken is about 45$ with no sides on it, that makes it at least double priced compared Coal Fire BBQ chicken or actually even triple in price for the same method of cooking.
They even changed the fries, they used to be nice & crispy, now soggy & tasteless. Total disappointment!
Their chicken & ribs are very good, but the lunches go from either combinations that do not taste good at all to delicious. The service is fast, but not the deliveries.
I had an excellent experience at Rooster Express 138 in Châteauguay. The service was outstanding-staff checked in three times to ensure everything was going well, & they were all exceptionally friendly. The chicken & chips were delicious, & there was a generous selection of sauces to choose from. The meal also came with gravy & coleslaw, which was a great touch. Highly recommended if you're in the mood for quality chicken. A bonus: they're open until 10 pm.
Great food. I always order take out from there for a group of 14. Their wraps are awesome especially the southwestern wrap. It's delicious. Their jumbo chicken brochettes are really good.Fast service, no taxes & the waitresses are all nice. If you live in Mercier they deliver.
Their incredible fried chicken truly needs no introduction-always fresh, perfectly fried, & served hot. Today, though, I want to highlight their exceptional customer service. I ordered a 4-piece chicken meal for pickup, but when I got home, I realized the French fries were missing. I called them, & they immediately apologized & offered to deliver the fries to my address. Not only did they deliver promptly, but they also included double the portion of fries along with a cinnamon apple pie as a bonus. You guys are absolutely amazing!
Quite a discovery! I will definitely come back. I usually don't like white meat for fried chicken. I forgot to ask for only brown meat but boy was I surprised. Their White meat chicken were so moist & flavorful that I actually didn't mind & even enjoyed it. The 2 young women that served us were so nice & relaxed. My first time here & they were very patient with an indecisive guy(me)! We were a party of 4 & we all gave them a thumbs up. Please note. They fry up everything fresh on order. Not like KFC that pre-fry. So expect a 20 minutes wait. But that patience will pay off!!
