I am surprised this place is still here. Great home cooking from two super warm Taiwanese ladies who treat you like your grandma would. I absolutely enjoyed the thick noodles that come with the beef noodles but would enjoy it more if it were richer. But I suppose thats more to the home cooking style they have there, which is great as well. Very much enjoyed the braised chicken leg. Eclectic as the music playing in the background is, it is very much like it came from the time when Taiwan was still under Martial Law (until the late 80s), which adds to that nostalgic old-schooled hole in the wall place you may find in Taiwan. They were telling me this place has been in business since 1995 & they've been working there ever since so as much as they are both up & running in good spirit, & that i want them to last super long. Come before retire! CASH only so be prepared.View more
Je recommandeView more
For a casual dining experience with a home-cooked feel, this is a great option. The open kitchen & kind ladies cooking & serving made me feel right at home. The menu has expanded with many Chinese staples & comfort food such as hit & sour soup noodles. While the menu is near heavy, there has been an expansion in vegetarian menu options. The service was casual but friendly as tea was provided & refilled & the ladies were regularly checking on us & making sure we had enough spicy sauce. Will definitely return. Just a heads up that credit card is not accepted & last time we came the Interac machine was down so it was cash only.View more
Go & have party 🥳. It so cool & warm people. Only cash.View more
If you want to feel like your grandma is making you food - this is the place to be. Taste is so authentic & at that price point nobody is complaining. Wontons are out of this world & chicken is tasty, healthy & falls off the bones.View more
Despite a sign indicating'take-out only,' which is a remnant from the pandemic closures, dining in is warmly welcomed at this charming eatery. The Taiwanese owners, two delightful women, extend exceptional hospitality. Their engaging interactions include responding to queries, initiating friendly conversations, offering food recommendations, & generously serving abundant tea. The beef noodle soup, a standout dish, features generous portions of beef & homemade noodles, making for a truly enjoyable meal. I'm already planning my next visit! It's important to note that the restaurant accepts only cash & debit & operates with restricted hours, being closed on weekends. Nonetheless, it's a culinary experience worth scheduling time for.View more
I used to work around the corner & would stop by for lunch. The ladies were always so nice & accommodating & the food tasted so good. You could tell that it was homemade & made with passion. I have not been back in a bit, but I still think about the food to this day!View more

Nice little place for lunch. The Taiwanese ladies are super friendly, they were cooking & singing at the same time. Their plates, tea pots, tea cups really remind me of my grandma. If you look for a place to eat & chit chat with your friends, this might not be an ideal place. However it's a perfect place for quick meals that makes you feel like home cooked meals.View more
I was really impressed by the food quality! You can taste that everything is homemade with passion. The restaurant doesn't look appealing but do not trick yourself out, go talk to the ladies & they will help you to get the best wonton soup! Prices are really faire considering the quantity you get.View more
The food was very tasteful but a bit on the pricer side with respect to the ambience & portions. I had the fried rice with vegetables was really good.View more

Nice little Taiwanese place. Had the beef noodle soup, won ton noodle soup, & fried dumplings. All were excellent.View more
Very good Taiwanese cuisine. We had sour & spicy soup, minced pork on rice, both were authentic Taiwanese flavors. We also ordered wonton noodles in light beef-flavored soup-- the soup tasted subtle in the beginning, but it grew on me, & the noodles & the wontons were wonderful!!!View more
