Ordered a small poutine with smoked meat on it after four women who ordered much more than us. Waited for 30 minutes, the women got their food & finished it before we even got ours. Wasn't a busy night they just literally forgot.

Only reason we went was because this place serves halal smoked meat.
The sandwich was ok. I'd give it a solid 3.5/5 however the poutine was such a disappointment. I never thought I'd complain about too much gravy but it was way too much. The fries were so soggy & overall the taste was just salty.
The place was a bit dirty too but probably because of the construction happening outside.

Great smoked meat sandwich. Also excellent poutine, drowning in gravy. I don't know if it's a local favorite, but for a visiting Texan it hit the spot!

J'y suis allé avec mon frère & nous avons pris le royale. La burger est solide & la viande est vraiment bonne. J'ai pu essayer les frites normales & minces croustillantes (je ne connais pas le nom haha). J'avais l'habitude d'aller à celui sur Wellington, mais il a fermé… En allant sur St-Catherine j'ai eu l'impression que la portion avait rapetissée. C'est dommage. La qualité reste la même au moins. J'ai aussi eu l'occasion de tester la poutine au smoke meat & ça m'avait un peu déçu, surtout le fromage. Je pense vraiment qu'il y a quelque chose à faire avec ça. Tout de même, c'est un endroit à essayer selon moi.

Here from the Toronto area & had to try Montréal smoked meat & poutine, this place delivered, im still sitting in their restaurant while I'm typing this, highly recommend, you won't be disappointed

Savoury poutine, the philly steak on top mostly unnoticeable though. Good place to stop without breakin a bank.

First time in Montreal. We have made it a point to try poutines daily. This place is my favorite so far! (We have been to 2 others). The Montreal Smoked Meat poutine was delicious, & I will definitely have another before heading back to Ontario. Thank you for the great food, & service!

Rock'N Deli on St-Catherine in Montreal is a must try for smoked meat fans! Their halal smoked meat sandwich is incredibly juicy, tender, & melts in your mouth with perfect smokiness & seasoning a burst of flavors on soft bread. ? The Reuben is tasty too, with delicious meat, though they oddly lack customer knives. ? Unique smash burgers, like the Royale with added smoked meat, are enjoyable & add a fun twist. ? Poutine is surprisingly good, decked in gravy & extra meat. ? Staff are super friendly & the vibe is lively with good tunes, but fries are just meh & prices can feel high ($25-40 for a sandwich). ? If you're not French-speaking, minor communication hiccups might occur. Overall, great spot for halal eats in downtown - try the signature sauce! 4/5 stars.
