First meal in montreal & it was fantastic!! Poutine & montreal smoked meat, couldn't get any better then that! The gentlemen running the show were very nice & the service was great!
Une très belle découverte 🥰. De passage sur Montréal nous avons voulu goûter ce fameux sandwich à la viande de boeuf fumée. Un vrai régal !! Les frites les rondelles d'oignon & la salade de chou étaient très bons aussi. La poutine que nous avons goûté également était plus savoureuse que celle goûtée la veille ailleurs.
Nous avons été très bien accueilli, le dessert nous a été offert & une portion d'oignons aussi.
L'endroit est propre & chaleureux.

Awesome experience! Kevin has fantastic customer service skills & was very hospitable. We had a smoked meat sandwich, the burger with the smoked meat on top, & a poutine. All were very delicious. I would highly recommend checking this place out!

Got the smoked meat sandwich with smoked meat poutine. The mustard paired with the smoked meat blended the flavours well. The meat was extremely moist & it almost melted in your mouth. The poutine had a fair amount of toppings & tasted great. Service was really nice too. Great food & experience.
This was a convenient location from our hotel. I felt like I wanted poutine so we stopped by here.
My wife also wanted a poutine to share with our 8 year old daughter. Ordering was a challenge as the person taking our order wasn't fluent in English (& I am not fluent in French). As a result, instead of ordered two poutines & one of them topped with something, I somehow ordered a poutine & a sandwich with a side of poutine.
It worked out though as we were hungrier than we realized.
Overall, the food is very delicious. If my wife had a redo, it would be to order the sandwich with more meat. I believe it's called their roast meat sandwich.
There is Kevin the frenchie who rocks the place, then there is the kitchen staff being as slow as can be. Poutine is acceptable. Smoked meat is not the best I've had, but the only halal I've heard of. Prices are a bit high for the portion sizes, in my opinion... but again, the only halal smoked meat I've heard of. The place took a few weeks to really take off, but now that a few local influencers visited, hopefully they will be there to stay.
