Across reviews, Rockaberry is seen as a dessert focused destination in Montreal with a cozy, relaxed vibe that invites long visits and friendly chatter, ample seating, and a welcoming atmosphere. The desserts are the highlight, with standout items including Boston Cream Cheesecake, apple crumble cheesecake, strawberry shortcake, Nutella cake, and a key lime pie; portions are generous and the variety of pies and cakes draws repeat visits. The menu also offers vegetarian desserts and options beyond desserts, including dinners and cocktails, making it more than just a dessert cafe. Service receives mixed notes: many describe staff as friendly and attentive, while some reviews recount moments of less attentive or inconsistent service that can affect the mood. Prices can be on the higher side, with some calls for smaller portions to improve value, yet the quality and consistency of the desserts are repeatedly praised. The locations, including Griffintown, are described as lively and atmospheric, with some comments on a darker interior but overall inviting, plus clean washrooms, good parking, and a vibe conducive to birthdays or casual nights out.
It was simply delicious, if you want a really cool place to eat a great dessert, Rockaberry Griffintown is the place to go, the Caramel fudge was our favorite one & the carrot cake the second choice, 1000% recommended!! We will come back for sure

If you are looking to have a small meal like an onion soup, rice soup, Rockaberry is a nice place to go, also staffs are very nice & friendly, & cakes are so huge & heavy but delicious specially those ones that have cheese in it(If you are a fan of cheese of course!:)
We stopped by Rockaberry after dinner for dessert & coffee. The atmosphere was amazing inside & we were immediately welcomed when we entered. The pies, cakes & desserts looked so good & were presented so nicely it was hard to choose which ones to get. Shortly after we arrived we were seated & service was great. We tried a few of the pie options & loved them all. Rockaberry is a great place to visit after dinner for dessert or just for a bite anytime. I'll be back next time I'm in town.
Cakes are delicious. Unfortunately we were kicked out of the Terrasse because we had a tiny poodle (trained & with a service card). Other restaurants in Griffintown allow costumers to bring our furry kids & even give them water & ice. We will miss the cakes in a nice summer day ... we will choose this restaurant only in winte

Rockaberry was an okay experience. To be fair, I did go there for food instead of their esteemed pies & cakes. However, I wasn't a fan of the dark bar atmosphere, & the food wasn't too impressive. I do want to give it another try another time, but as for right now, I don't see myself coming back anytime soon.
Maybe i made a bad choice. But brownie with the chocolate mousse cake was not good. Way too sweet, wet brownie bottom & the little bit of whipped cream tasted stale. Staff was great though.
This pastry shop is really great. The staff was very polite & kind. They genuinely wanted to make sure we had the a great time at their establishment. The pies/cake were so good. They have a wide variety of options to choose from & they are fairly priced. I recommend seating outside on the patio if you can. It's just a nice space.
The cake was amazing & the place has a great ambiance. The waitress was really nice & attentive. I would definitely come back to try the other cakes. The coffee was okay, but I guess that's a matter of taste.
