Globalement, Roch le Coq est perçu comme une adresse prisée pour le poulet frit et la poutine, avec des portions généreuses, un poulet juteux et croustillant, des frites correctes et des sauces appréciées, ainsi qu'un service chaleureux et une ambiance conviviale sur le Plateau; la plupart des avis saluent la saveur, le rapport qualité prix et la rapidité du service, avec des poutines et du popcorn chicken qui impressionnent, même si quelques plats manquent à l'appel et quelques commentaires évoquent un service parfois inégal ou des temps d'attente.
crispiest crispy fries, tasty chicken - not too salty or greasy - & loved the fresh coleslaw with mint. The cook was attentive & super friendly. All the sauces were tasty & the whole meal was inexepensive. I recommend & for sure will come back, would be a great place to pick up food for a picnic in Parc Lafontaine.
Are Ya Joking??? This place goes absolutely NUTS with the poutine, I'm just a simple West Coast boy so I'm not so versed in the dark arts but you put some bomb fried popcorn chicken on fries with gravy & some pickled cabbage & I am ALL IN. I got the Raymon & my boy got the Philo & we were both blown away. Service was A+ let them guide you through this spiritual journey of self discovery through poultry

Mega chicken burger was horrible. Fried chicken was also below average & expensive. Fried chicken from IGA is way better. NOT RECOMMENDED, WASTE OF MONEY
We didn't want to wait 40 minutes in -20 weather for La Banquise & came across this place. THANK GOD WE DID! the poutine is absolutely delicious. Great portion size, friendly service, absolutely delicious poutine.
Will come back for sure!
MI had a great experience at the Plateau location! The staff were super friendly. The chicken & fries were delicious. I was already craving it again the next day!
We had a wonderful time at Roch le Coq! My family & I visited Montreal for a day & needed a quick lunch before continuing our adventure. Happened to come across Roch le Coq & honestly we have no regret! The staff were incredibly kind & accommodating. They even helped my partner & I with figuring out where to pay for parking. As for the food, their classic poutine was hands down the best poutine I have ever tasted in my life! I ordered the popcorn chicken separately & it was amazing!! The chicken was juicy & tender & crispy even a few hours later! (Sister ate the leftover chicken on the way back to TO). Their burgers were so filling & had a harmonious mix of flavours & it also came with fries that were absolutely delectable! Will definitely come again when we get the chance to visit Montreal next year!!
I mess with their chicken popcorn poutine! The sauce is unlike anything I've had before, the fries taste like they're fried in butter. Chicken is crispy af, yumm put in me mouf.

Ordered for the first time delivery. Photos looked good. Received shockingly small portion size of fries with the chicken tenders. The chicken itself was dry, tasted unseasoned. Gravy was fine. I would not try this place again
I had the chicken tenders they were very good they have some kind of spice in it which was different from what i saw elsewhere & the gravy also very different but very good & i liked the fries a lot 👌 On doordash it didnt take long for them to prepare the food so i guess service is quick🤷♂️
Such an awesome restaurant. Small but well laid out & organized. Also super clean the bathrooms were spotless, so much so I thought I would mention it 😂 ANYWAY the food was amazing! Good portions, filling & delicious. The fried chicken is so perfect, reminded me of my favorite childhood restaurants. Not really any gluten free options, but can't really expect that from a poutine/fried chick place.
