We ordered for a corporate lunch almost a 100 dollars worth if smoke meat. It shows up, no bread to be found. So turns out, they sell u smoke meat without even putting some bread with it..clearly no one is going to order for 10 people with if smoke meat without bread! We had to go to dollar store to buy bread.. pathetic & why was it not specified!? How cheap can someone get not to provide bread!? Unbelievable.View more

One of the best smoke meat in town, menu is well prices & well worth it. You'll notice there's always a manager supervising any plates leaving the kitchen to make sure every dish is perfect, you can actually see the kitchen. This place has been stable & consistent over the last 29 odd years I've been going. Highly recommend & please try the smoked meat !View more

I went to Reuben's for dinner take out & was very pleased. Although I didn't stay in the restaurant to eat, the atmosphere was wonderful. The service I received was excellent. The hostess that attended to me answered all my questions & made very good recommendations. The food was delicious. I had the Reuben sandwich, steak cut oinion rings & a in house made strawberry cheesecake for dessert. All of them were delicious. I highly recommend Reuben for anyone in the area.View more

This by far was one of the best experiences I ever had at a restaurant. The staff were well groomed (& attractive I might add haha), extremely helpful for taking on 8 people as walk-ins (it was quite busy on a rainy weekend) & the food was amazing! I had the'76 & carrot cheesecake 🤤

Visited this famous Montreal smoked meat spot & overall, it lived up to its reputation! The smoked meat was definitely the highlight - tender, flavorful, & perfectly seasoned. It had that classic, satisfying bite you hope for in a Montreal deli.
I also really enjoyed the French onion soup - rich, savory broth with just the right amount of melted cheese & soft onions. A comforting start to the meal.
The only letdown was the rib cheese macaroni. It sounded promising but ended up being a bit bland & heavy. The texture wasn't quite right, & it just didn't have the same quality as the other dishes.
Still, the core experience - the smoked meat & the soup - was solid. Worth a visit if you're in town & craving a taste of classic Montreal comfort food.View more

Our group had such a good lunch on our first visit that we came back again later in the week! This restaurant was a great place to introduce visitors to smoked meat. Large portions & very fast service. We did make a reservation for our second visit as it was a Sunday afternoon. Kids meals were also very large. Wheelchair accessible bathroom on the main level.
