I've been coming to SSAM restaurant a few times now, & it never disappoints! One of my favorites is their Sizzling Bulgogi it's absolutely delicious! The beef is tender, perfectly seasoned, & served sizzling hot with a wonderful mix of fresh vegetables & rice. The flavors are rich, sweet, & so satisfying, & I love the beautiful presentation when it arrives at the table. Every visit has been a great experience, with consistently delicious food & excellent quality. This is definitely one of my go-to spots for Korean food, & I highly recommend.

Très bon service. Très bonne nourriture. Le kimchi & les plats d'accompagnement étaient très délicieux. J'ai trouvé qu'il y en manquait un peu dans mon plat & que le poulet frit était un peu trop sucré à mon goût, mais je recommande tout de même.

J'ai vu qu'ils étaient fermé & pour une seconde, j'ai cru que c'était pour toujours. Heureusement que ce n'était que pour leur vacance (GRANDEMENT MÉRITÉE), car j'allais pleurer toute la nuit. C'est mon restaurant préféré de la ville & la seule chose que j'ai mangé qui était aussi bon, était en Corée.

Ordered a bibimbap for delivery, it arrived 10 min after I hit order as I live close by (suspicious). Now if the food was cooked when the order came in & not sitting around prior (at an unsafe temperature) then why 10 min later on a 35 degree day did my food arrive cold? Perhaps because it had been sitting around, chicken & eggs left at an unsafe temperature can literally kill you. Super unacceptable & irresponsible. Good luck to your stomach if you choose to order from here, they clearly don't care about food safety.

My favorite korean restaurant!
Their soft tofu jigae is simply the best in Montreal.
The fried chicken is really good.
The owners are very kind & there is this family business vibe no other places can compete with, you see they care for their customers.

Looking for a new Korean restaurant while i'm around & been told about this restaurant. The place looks small, but the food is delicious. We ordered bibimbap & there are 2 options, the regular bowl or the hot plate (with extra charge). The vegetable portions are big & the food is good. They also have french fries & bean sprouts for free too, which is a nice additional to the main meal. They also have fried chicken, which we will try in the future.
