Excellent authentic Indian restaurant in Montreal! Really nice north Indian food! We had dahi puri which was mildly sweet. Kadhai Paneer & Malai Kofta was really good. You can ask them to make it Indian spicy if you want, & they will happily cater to it. Definitely get for the onion kulcha, it's very tasty. Buttery on the outside & soft on the inside with flaky layers. We also had masala salty lassi which was so good our toddler son finished an entire glass. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant on your trip to Montreal.
I would say the restaurant isn't as clean. The bathrooms are a bit dirty & the door corners are dirty & so were the floors, but the food made up for it. The food quality itself was really good, just the interior could use a little clean up.
I tried chicken tikka ,paneer tikka it was very delicious 10/10 we also tried lamb madrasi ,dal makhni naan virsa naan it was super super no words & rest excellent service thanks virsa we will definitely come back
Thank you so much, Virsa, for your wonderful hospitality today! A special thank you to Sakshi & Uncle Ji for all the personal touches & for taking such great care of us. You made us feel like we were enjoying a home-cooked meal, served with so much love & warmth.
We ordered the chilli gobi, mac & cheese, aloo paratha, kadhai paneer, dal makhani, peas pulao, & garlic naan-& every dish was absolutely delicious! We had a wonderful time enjoying the meal with our kids.
I highly recommend Virsa to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful food & exceptional hospitality. We'll definitely be back on our next vacation! ❤?
Best food & best service in town!! I have tried paneer tikkaa, paneer kadhai, dal makhani is the best I have ever tried in Montreal!
Virsa has been the hands down best Indian food for people who want no onion no garlic vegetarian options(Jain/Swaminarayan).
The varieties offered are unbeatable. We have ordered multiple times now since the restaurant opened & we have tried the following items:
Paneer pakora
Veg Samosa
Kadai paneer
Palak paneer
Malai kofta
Naan
All of them have been extraordinary & meeting our expectations everytime. The staff are extremely friendly. Special shout out to Sakshi for always letting us try new dishes without onion & garlic & being so accommodating & friendly. Highly recommend their restaurant 😊
Everything was yummy. We ordered shahi paneer, aloo parantha, paneer naan, lamb biryani & a non veg thali. The curries, especially chana masala was really good! Must visit, will come again
