We were genuinely impressed with this spot. The interior was beautifully designed, spacious, elegant. Loved the outdoor veranda, easy for large parties or private events.
The food was bomb. Malai chicken, palak with burrata, cocktails, daal makhani were all spot on. Definitely repeatableView more
Absolutely amazing. We learned about this place when we stopped in one night - my friend's daughter had been stung & the bartender provided help with a first aid kit. So very kind. My husband & I returned for our last meal in Montreal - we ordered the Butter Chicken & the Rara Chicken. The server warned us about the bones in the latter & lowered the spice level. The dishes were incredible, layered with flavour. This is the best Indian food I've ever tasted. We sat in the courtyard out thr back of the restaurant - it was quiet, peaceful & beautiful, with ivy climbing stone walls. Chirog, another bartender, crafted us a cocktail by listening to what we liked - it was delicious & he listed the name we gave it, Chirog's sunshine, on the bill. This is a new restaurant & no doubt will be successful given the service, location & food.View more

very good curries, our waiter was very attentive (didn't catch his name, but he mentioned he is a student studying engineering) & introduced us to great dishes & cocktails.View more
So good!! Loved the Paani Puri & the chicken appetizer. The cocktails were so good. Top notch. Definitely recommend!! We went there for appetizers after having dinner somewhere else but we were still hungry! Loved it so much, we came back for dinner the next dayView more
This restaurant was amazing! The service was great, they talk to you like you've always known each other, the drinks & food are impeccable. I will gladly return!View more
Veranda is a beautiful Indian restaurant with tasty food & a cozy indoor seating. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Panneer, & Naan. Everything was full of flavour but I felt our Chicken was little bit undercooked, a little chewy. The staff was friendly, & the place felt warm & welcoming. It's just a 5 to 7 minute walk from Old Port.
The food was nice, though a bit pricey. Our bill was around $175 plus tip. But it was nice to treat ourselves once in a while. A lovely spot for a special meal in Montreal!View more
We've travelled a lot internationally, & this is probably the fanciest Indian restaurant we've been. At time of review, it has been open only a month. But it's clear they put a lot of thought into their presentation, mimicking Michelin Star restaurants. The restaurant itself is in one of the hottest, prime streets in the city.
The garlic naan was fresh, striking a balance between fluffiness & crispiness. The cheese naan went with cream cheese rather than the more typical mozzarella or paneer. Still didn't feel heavy & wouldn't have guessed it was cream cheese if we weren't told.
The staff was friendly, professional, & helpful. We tried a cocktail at the waiter's recommendation, & it was actually refreshing with a spicy finish.
For curries, we went with the Veg Korma & Palak Burratta. Veg Korma was tasty & had a wide variety of vegetables. Both curries were made spicier upon request. The Burratta is one of the curries featured on the socials, & it also did not disappoint. Spinach was fresh, & the Burratta cheese both made it fancier & went hand in hand with the spinach.View more
Absolutely wonderful place if you're into tasty Indian food.
I was surprised by the quality of the ingredients & the effort put into their sauces.
So much spices & flavor without much of the heat.
The staff is very polite & friendly. They'll advise you what is good for your taste.
First time I'm eating a Samosa Tart, such a nice spin on a classic & the presentation was amazing too.View more
This was the most impeccable dining experience! As a local it was so nice trying a new restaurant & the food, service, & atmosphere were top tier. I had the dragonfruit cocktail which is my favourite cocktail I've ever had, a shrimp meal, vegetable curry, & the coconut salmon. Every single bite was perfection. I sat in the courtyard area but the inside was so beautiful I'll have to come back to experience that too! also exceptional espresso martinis, one of the best in the city.View more
