We have been numerous times. This is a family run restaurant. Great service. Food best padthai I have ever had. Appetizers & drinks are delicious . Every dish we have tried has been great. Very welcoming chef came out & talked with us . His wife works the front & shakes up amazing cocktails of all sorts. We will go back regularly. Great find in little Italy.
Overall, the food here is fine, but it's important to set the right expectations before coming.
If you're expecting the typical Thai flavors that many people in Canada are used to - bold, salty, fish-sauce-forward, & strongly seasoned - this place may feel different. They don't use fish sauce or heavy, strong sauces, & the flavors are much lighter & more subtle.
The owner actually came out to explain their concept, mentioning that their cooking style comes from a specific region in Thailand, where the flavors are quite different from what's commonly known as'traditional Thai food' overseas.
This restaurant is also located in the Little Italy area, with a more Western crowd, so some flavor adjustments are understandable. That said, while it may not match the typical Thai food expectations, the food itself is still enjoyable.
One small note: the crispy noodle dish tasted a bit unusual & wasn't our favorite. However, the rice dish is recommended.

You gotta have pretty big cojones to open up a Thai restaurant in the heart of little Italy! The food was absolutely delicious!! Timbum & Helen giving Top notch service! We will definitely coming back!

A Thai food restaurant in Little Italy Montreal, Restaurant Tibum? This place is incredibly amazing & a refreshing change from the neighborhood norm. The food is all prepared fresh, fast, & delicious. The service is so very attentive to every detail without being intrusive. The decor is clean & classy. The atmosphere is incredibly soothing with soft contemporary & classic music playing softly that adds to the tranquil feel. The prices are reasonable & the servings are generous. Tibum is new to the neighborhood but it will be very successful. If your looking for Thai in a classy restaurant loacted in a phenomenal neighborhood, then this is it, Restaurant Tibum. I rate Tibum 5 out of 5 mustaches. Uncle Carmine knows his Thai.
Quiet, local spot in Little Italy just off from Marche Jean Talon for our late lunch. Chef & owner was very lovely. Exceptionally hospitable. Enjoyed the personal attention but also all the conversation to go along with our fresh, finely prepared & reasonably priced meal. We appreciate the approachable atmosphere of this relaxing restaurant. Have recommended to family & friends when they travel to Montreal.
Very attentive waitress, as someone who enjoys my glass of water filled they made sure my glass was never empty. The food portion is great, I liked that they provided all the necessary add ons. Delicious food in Little Italy. The complimentary tea was a nice touch it cleansed my taste buds.

This spot in Little Italy is amazing for some Thai fusion food for a casual night out. The pad Thai is exceptional with a variety of vegetables & a sauce that has rich flavors & is not too sweet. The Shanghai noodles & Pad Sew, that I also tried, were extremely flavorful as well. The fries were also amazing & a must have. The most memorable aspect of our evening was how warm & welcoming the owner & waitress were.,They engaged in a nice conversation with us & had some on-the-house offerings that I haven't experienced in a resto before. Very tasty & heartfelt experience. Highly recommended!
THIS IS A HIDDEN & PRECIOUS GEM IN LITTLE ITALY! You'll experience a traditional Thai culinary experience, while also having a modern touch to it. I just ate the best Beef Pad See Ew ever! The imperial rolls are super delicious as well! This spot also has the prettiest, tastiest & unique drinks menu. Leave room for dessert because it's rich & decadent. *They use quality ingredients & NO MSG!* They can also accommodate according to your needs & taste (vegetarian, vegan, no gluten & more!) The owner, Bum, is the most adorable person ever! He makes sure that you have the best experience ever. Thank you for this perfect experience! I'll be back for sure :)
Great addition to the Little Italy in case you want to eat something other than Italian food. The restaurant serves Asian fusion food. The menu is vaste & even the pickiest eater will find something. You can get Asian (Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese) & fusion like poutine or pasta too. The owner/chef is very accomodating, if you feel like having real Thai food, you just mention it & they will make it to your liking (more spicy, more fish sauce etc...) They can also make your meal gluten free. The cocktails are absolutely bomb!! We loved the warm chocolate cookie with ice cream.

hidden gem in Montreal! I was walking around with my friends in little Italy & decided to give this place a try. My friends & I ordered 5 different dishes & I was pleased to see how delicious the food was. So happy with my experience there & will certainly come back in near futur!
