Restaurant Tenorio's draws praise for authentic flavors across Mexican, Colombian, and Peruvian dishes, with cocktails that are often described as strong and well made and portions that are generously sized. The atmosphere is frequently noted as lively and welcoming, and the staff are commonly described as attentive and friendly, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience. Dishes like ceviche, cochinita, fajitas, and shrimp tacos appear as highlights, with some reviewers calling the cochinita authentic and others praising the overall quality. Some visits are marked by occasional inconsistencies, such as meat not being fully cooked or tacos that are dry, and a few guests feel the prices are high for what is served. The overall impression is that this restaurant is a standout option in Montreal for Latin cuisine, offering a memorable experience with good value on many visits and a willingness to return for the cocktails and vibrant vibe.
Food was good, but waiter was pushy trying to sell more drinks. It was a quiet wednesday night. The music was a little too loud on the terrasse. The waiter made me uncomfortable. Oh & the duct tape reparation on the table…sketchy.

Went on a weekenight when it was very quiet & no sports event. The decor is very warm & inviting for a party nd/or a communal TV watching events with lots of screens ans projectors set up strategically. The food was okay. Portions were small considering this is more of a publike resto than I high end tapas place. The service was so-so since the waitress did not seem to have received much training at all but was very nice. I loce that there was a variety of Latin typical dishes & drinks, some wich are harder to get. I would come back for a fun special occasion with a big group of friends, or with friends who have not tried Peruvian or Colombian dishes.
Yummy food & great drinks (I didn't have alcohol, but the virgin pina colada was great & the cocktails my colleagues had looked great). I had the nachos, but next time, I will be more adventurous & try the Peruvian or Columbian dishes.
Absolutely delicious! The food was tasty & flavorful, but pricey for the appetizers. The staff was caring. They have music, tv screens & nice decor. Next time we'll try the drinks!

TL:DR, it's okay but try it for yourself. I have read several reviews before dinning-in twice & they are accurate: this is N0T & Authentic Peruvian cuisine! For an authentic plate from Perú there's are several others establishments on the same street & nearby. However the rest is better, for the most; staff is very friendly, the Causa cón Pulpo is a must try, the Squid Fettuccini is also a delice (despite it not being traditional Peruvian dish) the Papa à la Huancaina sauce is on top, but there is no Aji de Gallina on the menu (a very popular Peruvian dish!) the Lomo Saltado is stirred on a Wok as opposed to the traditional large pan stir fry (salteado), the waiting time is very long (about 30min even for a starter & we were not served at the same time bit times I went), we received the exact same plates but another table was complaining that within their three Squid Causa: one was missing the Peruvian corn, & another had double the Squid seafood which warrant the uneven quantity of food served or omissions in others reviews thereof. Around 9h38 pm the kitchen did not take any new orders because after 10pm it is drinking only & Latino Hip Hop music too loud for the small restaurant. Free tap water also stops after 10pm I returned during the Final of COPA America 2024, the ambiance was great, the Causa & Papas were great, the Pisco Sour was a disaster: it was colorless & tasted like water, felt like a rob for $14+tax & tips. I was not allowed for an alfajores dessert after 10pm because the kitchen closed, even if it is stashed in a cookie jar. Watching a sports over there event is entertaining.
We went on a gorgeous day & took full advantage of their beautiful, large outdoor area. There's nothing like having a drink on a terrasse in the sun, & with a large drink menu of signature cocktails, classic cocktails, wine, beer, & non-alcoholic beverages, we definitely had a great time. We also enjoyed the comfortable & festively decorated interior, with murals that capture the essence of the restaurant. The creatively & exquisitely prepared dishes we selected were all aesthetically pleasing & created a rush of tastebud-stimulating flavors. The ceviche, in particular, is highly recommended. Special thanks to our extremely friendly, helpful, & patient waitress-an example of exceptional service.
