Review Summary

Restaurant Shing Kee is widely regarded as a staple for authentic Cantonese and Szechuan cuisine in the West Island, frequently praised for generous portions, flavorful dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere. Many diners highlight favorites like peanut butter dumplings and won ton soup, while also appreciating the BYOB policy and convenient parking. Although the food consistently earns high marks for quality and freshness, some patrons have noted concerns regarding rising prices, the need for aesthetic updates to the interior, and occasional inconsistencies with takeout wait times and service speed during peak hours.

Crevette a l'ail plutôt moyenne car panure tres dur & crevette trop cuite.

Twice in a row service was very slow - need more help. One hour + from sitting to soup. Food is good, when it gets to your table! They do lots of take-out - maybe that is the way to go...

My favourite restaurant to go to! Love the staff, very welcoming & sweet! Love the food! Highly recommend the peanut butter dumplings & the hot & sour soup. If you're looking for a great main, try the honey garlic spare ribs or the general tao...spicy if you want to add some kick to it!

The Tum Yum soup as good but not very hot,
Plain rice was good.
Chop Suey was ok
