Sawadika offers a popular all you can eat experience where guests can enjoy a diverse selection of freshly prepared dishes in a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is well regarded for its flavorful and generous menu, with many patrons appreciating the ability to taste a variety of items through the small portion tapas style service. The convenience of being a bring your own wine establishment, combined with efficient and friendly staff, makes it a frequent destination for groups, families, and celebrations. While some guests mention that the space can become busy or noisy at times, the overall consensus highlights a consistent commitment to quality food and attentive service that encourages many to return.
This has been our favourite Thai-Szechuan restaurant for years. Unfortunately, their original location in Ville Saint-Laurent had to close after a fire broke out in the neighbouring business in the same building. Thankfully, they reopened in St-Hubert on the South Shore-but it's an even bigger trek for us: 98 km one way (the original location was about half that distance).
Despite the over one-hour drive & 196 km round trip, it was absolutely worth it! The food is every bit as delicious & consistently excellent as it's always been, & the staff remain some of the friendliest & most welcoming around.
The food arrives piping hot, beautifully prepared, & packed with flavour. The all-you-can-eat menu is an incredible value, with freshly made dishes brought right to your table based on your selections.
The peanut dumplings are pure heaven & an absolute must-order! Other favourites include the imperial rolls, papaya salad, crispy sesame beef, lime chicken, General Thai chicken, rainbow beef, tofu with vegetables in basil sauce, & vegetable fried rice-to name just a few. Honestly, we've never had a bad dish here. Everything on the menu is delicious.
Another bonus is that it's bring your own wine, so don't forget to pack your favourite bottle before heading out.
If you're wondering whether the drive is worth it, our answer is a resounding yes. We'll happily make the trip again for food this good!
This is my favorite all you can eat Thai resto. I have eaten here at least 25 times in the last 3 years. All dishes (I love shrimp & shrimp dishes make up about 75% of my choices) & every time everything has been wonderful. Never had anything less that top notch service. It's always a treat to come here.
The food was very good, but it was called some dish but other than that was very good & the service was a new servant so we had some delay to have our our dishes. Thank you very much again.

Sawadika is a Thai buffet with an all-you-can-eat buffet for $40 per person, & you can bring your own alcohol. It's a place you can't stop eating. Whether you're craving a comforting bowl of pad Thai or a spicy green curry stir-fry, there's something for everyone.
The so-called'sesame beef' is stir-fried with a savory flavor. Basically, it's sweet & sour deep-fried beef chunks.
To be honest, this place is more suitable for large groups. The dishes all taste similar to Thai Express, but for 2-3 people, you could actually go to a nice Thai restaurant for a more refined meal for the same price.
I've been to Sawadika several times in the past. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere & decor & the bring your wine formula is great! This time I went for dinner with 2 of my cousins. As usual the food is quite good with a nice selection of dishes.
I just feel that the service could be better. We ordered soups, appetizers & mains. & everything was brought to us at the same time! They placed everything we ordered on the table simultaneously. We would have really prefer they brought them spaced out to be able to enjoy the food in a more relaxed way then feeling so rushed to eat so the food doesn't get cold. It all feels very rushed making the experience less pleasant. With that being said the food is very tasty. I would go back but ask them to space out the service.
Pretty restaurant. We were looking forward to trying & were very disappointed. For 44 dollars per person ( same price for our 12 year old) I expect much better. Our issue was with the quality of the meats. Beef was boiled & grey & chewy & the chicken in all of our dishes was also chewy & bland. Soup was ok, peanut butter dumplings & fired rice was edible. We expected much better for price.
Cozy atmosphere gives me first impression. Ordering food is simple & easy. Dishes brings to us quickly & foods are delicious 😋. Price is fairly reasonable. Definitely recommend to friends & colleagues.
Another great discovery, 👍, did a quick lunch in transit. The Thai soop was great, but the calamari killed my palate with freshness & the perfect amount of breading. Service provided by Wissal was lovely, professional, efficient & something someone would expect from a high end, micheline style dining venue. Took one star off from the atmosphere, because of lack of natural light (just a few windows) (nothing to do to improve, i know) & paper covering tables (sorry but feels cheap) 😐. Will definitely return to taste other dishes, oh & BTW they have a buffet style option & a great downstairs private party 🥳 space with a TV
Love all the food choices. The all you can eat menu is delicious. Service is great now in 2025.. I tried so many dishes & everything was top taste & quality & presentation. Lovely & artistic ambiance
Very nice locale! Bright & cheerful not dark & dingy; food was very good with lots of options. We went for the all you can eat of sampler dishes & there was plenty of food choices. Great value! Also a BYOW so can't go wrong! If you're craving thai/Asian, this is the place!
