This is where Ozen truly shines. The Vietnamese dishes are consistently tasty, filling, & well presented. Every item on the menu that I have tried has been delicious, offering authentic & satisfying flavors. Given the quality & portion sizes, the prices are more than reasonable, especially for the Griffintown area where dining costs can be high. It is excellent value for the money. So far I've had there Ozen bowls, red curry, general tao chicken, salmon spring roll & won ton soup (best I've ever had!)

C'est un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Don't understand how this place can have a 4.8 rating.
Place has the vibes of a fast food, I guess since meals are cheap/decently priced that aligns.
Service was fast & staff was nice.
Now for the food, we had:
Tom Yum soup, broth was off. This isn't a real tom yum. Felt watery.
Won ton soup, the broth was good, like mentioned in other reviews the won tons were fried which is very odd.
Udon noodles, the peanut sauce was a risky choice & it's usually hit or miss & sadly this time it was a miss, it tasted somewhat bitter. The chicken that came with it was good.
Poke bowl, it was decent, probably the best thing we ordered.
We also ordered the viet coffee, it was good!
All meals looked aesthetically pleasing.
Overall not terrible & fine if you want some cheap food. Though if you usually eat thai or vietnamese you most likely won't like this place. Maybe the other dishes are better.
Outstanding Vietnamese fusion restaurant with a full halal menu. Impressive flavors in every dish, attentive & rapid service. This is surely to become a favored haunt in griffin town in Montreal.

I'm not a huge fan of Vietnamese cuisine in general, but this place was actually really good. The meat was halal, so I could eat comfortably. Prices were fair, portions were fresh & full of veggies. Lots of variety too. It's a nice spot in its own way - if you're curious, give it a try. You won't regret it.

Visited Ozen from Toronto after a recommendation - Impeccable food & service! Every single dish we ordered was super fresh & bursting of flavour. Highly recommend the Vietnamese inspired sushi. Also, the egg coffee was such a treat!
Great Vietnamese food & the best part is that it's halal! My husband & I are both Muslim & also Vietnamese & we don't often see Viet food in the halal food scene. This is a great place to grab Vietnamese food whether it's the rice noodle try a new cuisine especially if you only eat halal. The owners are sweet & I can tell that they treat their employees well.
My friends wanted to try out Halal Vietnamese place, Halal Asian is very rare to find. The food was delicious, vegetarian friendly options as well, great relaxed atmosphere, nicely priced.
No alcohol available, so you have to settle for soft drinks. Great location!

I love this restaurant. Took my friends there many times & they all enjoyed it. Their bowls are amazing & poke (especially beef poke) is delicious! They have a wide range of spring rolls which are also very yummy. Plus they have authentic Vietnamese coffee for coffee lovers. Overall, great experience for a very reasonable price. Will definitely keep coming back!
This place is amazing !! the food is so tasty, the portions are big & the price is so affordable! The owner is one of the nicest man i've ever met & their service is so good !. Also, it's halal!!!! I really recommend it, one of the best Vietnamese restaurant i've ever tried !
We came there about a month ago, but since I keep passing by the place I decided to leave a review.
We came on there with another couple, so we were 4 people in total (2 couples). I personally have dietary restrictions & a food intolerance, so it's very important for me to feel that the staff takes it into account.
When our servant came, she took our orders (we all took combos) & a coffee. The server ended up mixing up our orders & mine had to be taken back & be redone because my intolerance was not taken into account. After that, they forgot to bring us one of the soups...so we had to go back to let them know. When it was time to pay, the bills were mixed up & they tried to charge us for an additional soup,so we had to re explain that the mistake was on their end.
Given the whole mix up & due to my intolerance, I will not be back...
I also noticed recently that the food is apparently 100% halal, but the restaurant is supposed to be Vietnamese, so I am curious to know why is it halal? I thought at first that I was misinformed, but upon a quick research I learned that only 0.1% of the Vietnamese population are Muslims, so I guess this indirectly removes from the authenticity of the place.

Beautifully decorated restaurant, delicious vietnamese cuisine & excellent service by the owners! Must try the vietnamese iced coffee (Cafe Sua Da). This is the owner's second Ozen restaurant, after their great success in the first one, in Longueuil (still running). Highly recommend!
