Tucked away in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, this little spot could easily hold its own among Montreal's hidden gems. It's got that perfect no-fuss vibe… a mix of delicate ingredients, rugged 80s tunes, & mismatched dishes that somehow make total sense together.
Everything we tried was a delight. The walnut carrot cake stole the show. Maybe it was the rainbow sprinkles winking at us from the counter, or maybe it was the'oh-wow' reactions from the next table that convinced us, but either way, oh wow indeed!!!
The guedille was light & a touch watery, but the lamb skewer more than made up for it, tender, perfectly seasoned, & full of flavor without being too gamey. The cauliflower came out bold & beautifully spiced, with a sauce so good I nearly licked the plate. The cavatelli were a miss, im sorry to say…undercooked, almost raw :( but that rich meaty ragù deserved applause.
We shared everything, which is definitely the way to do it here. The menu is playful, balanced, & full of small surprises. With kind, attentive service & a laid-back Saturday-night energy, this place is easy to love. Highly recommend & I'll absolutely be back.
Si vous recherchez une adresse qui reprend les tendances culinaires de Montréal d'il y a dix ans, mais avec un peu moins de maîtrise, cet endroit est pour vous. Le service « cool & branché », donne l'impression que la haute gastronomie n'est pour eux qu'un jeu d'enfant ; il suffit pourtant de peu de temps pour constater que les plats reflètent fidèlement l'attitude un peu trop relaxe du restaurant.
Le tout, bien sûr, en facturant des sommes exorbitantes pour des portions minuscules, sans le moindre accompagnement. Il n'y a qu'à voir le « courgette césar » : une simple courgette crue tranchée avec un econome, saupoudrée de quelque flocons de parmesan avec quatre petits croutons a cote. & tout cela pour la modique somme de $19.
Ou le fletan, 4 bouchés caoutchouteuses de poisson, servi avec une tranche de tomate decorative & du cresson par dessus. $40.
Ce restaurant est ironique par design: le faux gazon dehors, l'odeur de vaiselle mouillee quand vous rentrez & les prix fou des vins pour vous faire croire que peut-etre c'est la la ou les connoisseurs de qualité mangent & boivent?
Mais c`est la ou est la joke de ce resto plutot'normal'.

Ils sont des trippeux de vins, dont notre serveur Dany qui nous à merveilleusement servis avec qu'avec des bons conseils. Leur section de vins vous fera decouvrir que des produits rares & insolites en accord avec le menu.
C'était notre 2e fois au Normal & je deviens accro déjà. C'est à lécher l'assiette.

Tout est excellent ! La nourriture comme les choix de vin sont variés & d'une grande qualité. Nous adorons y aller ! Un resto cozy qui se démarque par la qualité de son menu!
