View more
Food is okay, very filling ! Service was bad though. Asked to get to refill water & she didn't refill at all. Then saw her waiting at the cash register doing nothing for a while... At the end, Gave 100$ in cash when bill was around 75-78$. She just said « thank you, have a good night » without asking me if I needed the change. She thought I had given her a 20$ tip... then I asked her to give me back the change. She gave me 20$, taking her tip on her own (although I agree, not much of a tip, but also not great of a service).View more

Je ne crois pas que la nourriture était 100% typiquement mexicaine.
Accueil des plus chaleureux & généreux de la part de toute l'équipe mais particulièrement de la gérante Rosa.
Not the most impressive Mexican restaurant I’ve tried in the city. The best thing about this place is probably the convenient location & décor. Steps away from Sherbrooke station, it is very accessible. The interior is colourfully decorated with murals all over the place. Unfortunately the shine of the decorations does not carry over to the quality of the food. The quantities are quite poor for the price – only two tacos per serving with a shy amount of meat. The chicken fajitas were served with corn tortillas instead of flour which is more standard for fajitas. The chicken was cut far too thick, it was in chunks reminiscent of Chinese food rather than thinner cuts. The ratio of vegetables to meat was not good either, the fajitas I was wrapping were dominant in vege which was unsatisfying. The seasoning was just unimpressive as well. The rice was super bland for Mexican rice & the “salad” was like 5 pieces of lettuce & some chopped carrots that weren’t even mixed. Only came with 3 tortillas as well so I had to buy a fourth. I asked for their hot sauce. It was a house-made habanero sauce & was quite good, but it was not flowing. I had to open up the bottle & clean out hardened residue at the top that was blocking it from coming out - no customer should ever have to do this. They had no horchata but with how mid the food was I’m sure that would have disappointed me as well. Service was alright but a bit ingenuine at times. Server got wrapped into conversation with another customer outside & delayed our bill by a bit. This place needs to revamp their recipes, they have the potential to be a lot better than they currently are.View more
J'ai pris les tacos portobello & deux margaritas & c'était magnifique 😁View more
I visited from Houston Texas & the food at Mañana was very good. Growing up on the border of Texas & Mexico, the flavors reminded me of home. The server that took care of me was a lovely young lady & she did a wonderful job recommending food similar to that I mentioned I was craving. It was my first time to Montréal & I was surprised to find this Latin inspired gem on the quaint little street Rue St. Denis. I will try to visit again if ever in the neighborhood. A must try.View more
