My wife & I chose to celebrate Valentine's Day here after reading the reviews, & the experience exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the evening felt effortlessly elegant & unforgettable.
We began with the tuna & the avocado burrata salad - both exquisitely prepared & bursting with flavor. The short rib-stuffed ravioli that followed was, without exaggeration, the finest pasta I have ever tasted (forgive me, nonna). For our mains, we enjoyed the surf & turf with filet mignon & lobster tail alongside the rack of lamb. Each dish was cooked to absolute perfection & melted in our mouths.
For anyone seeking truly authentic Italian cuisine elevated to a refined dining experience, this is the destination. Without question, one of the finest meals we've had in Montreal - & we dine out often. The service was impeccable, the bartender crafted flawless cocktails, & the chef's talent is nothing short of extraordinary. Every detail contributed to an evening that felt luxurious, intimate, & perfectly curated.
An exceptional restaurant that turned our Valentine's celebration into a night we will never forget.
Excellent Italian restaurant. I went for the lunch menu & it was one of the better meals I have had in a restaurant in a long time. Great food & service.
Great Italian restaurant with a hefty price tag. Food: Delicious appetizers & dessert, worth every drop of flavor. The pistachio lava cake & caramel raspbery cheesecake was truly mind blowing. The main course were tasty, but hard to justify the price. Only giving four stars as the value did not meet the threshold. There are other Italian restaurants with similar fresh quality, at a quarter less expensive. Service: staff were inviting, kind & welcoming. Down side is service was quite slow, took 2 hours for oue first appetizers & the restaurant was not full. Little diversity as well, only male staff. Atmosphere: ambience was modern deco with classic touch. Neighborhood is pleasant little Italy with a nice romantic walk touch for date night. Bathrooms were clean. Overall, if price is not an issue,it can be worth it. Though, hard to justify paying 160$ + for a cocktail, wine glass, & 3 course meal.
Enjoyed a truly delicious supper & was quite impressed at the level of detail & attention put in all dishes. Authentic Italian dishes were elevated; quality, taste & freshness of ingredients was top-notch. Enjoyed the succulent rib-eye & home-made ravioli stuffed with burrata as mains. Looking forward to try the osso bucco next time. The service makes you feel like royalty; each & every person: kind, warm, knowledgeable & attentive. L'osso is one of those rare gems.

This was a new discovery within the little Italian of Montreal. The food quality was good, prices & portion size was good value. The server was good & attentive while decor was very comfortable. My favorite was the foie gras. The balsamic vinegar with cherries was a great match with the foie gras. The piece of foie gras was also a good size & very tasty.
Had a delightful Valentine's Day evening at L'Osso & will be sure to re-visit. Located on St. Laurent Blvd, in Little Italy just south of Jean Talon, L'Osso has a much more urbane & modern-esque look & feel than a typical Italian restaurant, especially of those in the area. The menu was Prix Fixe(given the holiday dinner) so we each had three well-portioned courses. We started the meal with a complimentary plate of spicy pepperoni (or similar meat), olives & bruschetta followed by Seared Ahi Tuna & Burrata with Tomatoes & Avocado (both dishes were excellent). The main was Salmon with Mushrooms & Braised Veal with Mashed Potatoes (also both were excellent, extremely flavorful) & ending with the Pistachio Fondant & Raspberry Chocolate Mousse (once again, excellent). Really had an enjoyable time...with good service, good food & a truly wonderful locale. Certainly worth a visit. Enjoy!
We were on our way to another Italian restaurant when the teachers' strike on Saint Laurent literally pushed us into L'Osso restaurant. Just to get out of the chaos, we decided to have lunch there. What a pleasant surprise it was! Delicious food, great presentation, cozy decor & impeccable service. Put it on your go-to list!
