The food was ok. We took oysters acevichado, they were too small for the price, it looked like mini oysters, but the sauce was ok. The maki acevichado had too much mayonnaise flavor, wasn't at all the real acevichado sauce flavor, it had too much rice so it really disappointed me as being a fan of this maki. It's the first restaurant in Montreal that I could find this dish but it doesn't make any justice. The Ceviche Carretillero was good, although the leche de tigre tasted like for a tiradito de ají amarillo rather than the original ceviche but it was good. However the texture of the fish was a bit hard, so I guess it was frozen fish which I don't mind but worth mention. Finally, the Maracuyá juice was good, hard to miss that.
The service wasn't bad, however wasn't very helpful to describe or explain some dishes. I know we are not in Peru but I've been on other peruvian restaurants & they explained you better & are more helpful.
The food was good & we really appreciated the attractive lunchtime menu specials, great value & tasty dishes. However, we were disappointed when it came time to pay. The payment machine did not show the tip suggestions based on the subtotal before taxes, which is now required by law in Quebec. When we brought this up to the server, she acknowledged it but said the owner hadn't updated the system yet...
Lima 14 is a beautiful restaurant that serves delicious & authentic Peruvian food. The cozy ambiance & colorful decor make you feel right in Peru. The menu brings traditional flavourful dishes bursting in the mouth & the freshly made portions are generous. Their ceviche is a standout 🤤
The bar showcases a variety of cocktails that blend traditional ingredients with modern mixology techniques, providing a unique & tasty experience 🍹
Enjoy Ladies Night on Tuesdays & 20% Peruvian Tradition Thursdays. Their Nikkei are available on weekends 🥂🍣
Combining the freshest & finest ingredients with traditional cooking techniques, @lima14.mtl is Montreal's premier spot for authentic Peruvian cuisine. Dishes like their #ceviche & #saltolomdado are dreamy.
Their inspired kitchen team delivers authentic flavors & perfectly balanced textures that will leave you in a reverie with every bite.
Their Nikkei (Japanese-Peruvian fusion)options like their torched Maki Anticichero were also amazing.
This gem is located on St-Laurent near the 40 highway. Although the place was quite empty, it was not because of the quality of the restaurant, or its location. It's just thanks to the constant efforts of the municipality of Montreal to transform its city in a gigantic construction yard & scare away both tourists & businesses. Put this aside, & you will discover delicious dishes prepared with care. I went to Peru once where I was amazed by the diversity & quality of local cuisine, only rivaled by the French cuisine in my opinion. At Lima 14 yesterday, I could find again the real flavors this country has to offer. The staff is great & they are always happy to guide you make your choice & explain their dishes. I chose the Anticuchos that were cooked to perfection & the delicious Causa de Pulpo while my better half chose the Fetuccini Huancainero con Lomo & a Causa Acevichada, which delicioulsy combine the richness of a causa with the freshness of the Ceviche. We will definitely come again soon to try other dishes as the menu was recently updated. Thank you, we had a great time!
The food was spectacular. I've been to different restaurants & always left disappointed, but finally I've found Peruvian dishes that taste like Peru🤗 The jalea was excellent 😋& Diego, the waiter, was very nice. Definitely will be going back.
Food was delicious! The ceviche, aji de gallina & lomo saltado stood out for me personally. Our group was extremely satisfied with both dishes & drinks along with the service! Prices were very reasonable & affordable. For these reasons I would go back & recommend:)
Cute spot with great service! The waitress took the time to explain to us the different dishes & gave us great recommendations. The food was packed with flavour, I just wish the portions were a bit bigger!
Beautiful dishes , authentic fresh civeche , super tasty !! Very nice & friendly service! I highly recommend it!! & will go back anytime!!

It's my first time; the ambiance is very welcoming & charming, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation. I recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat here.
The food was ok. Some dishes were too salty & others a little chewy. However , we were able to eat everything. The drinks were good & the food presentation was also good. The service was great. We needed a last minute restaurant & I wanted Peruvian food. I won't say it's the best Peruvian food I've had, but definitely try it if you want to be introduced to Peruvian cuisine. The price is not too expensive & you still have good flavors.

The food is fantastic, the service was lacking. The food came quickly enough but it takes then awhile to clear the dishes, refills etc. We weren't even offered a dessert coffee menu.
The ambiance is dark , lights dimmed, black tablecloths wasn't very inviting.
