We originally planned to visit 042 Afro Lounge because I had ordered from them in the past via Uber Eats & truly loved the meal. When we called ahead, however, they kindly informed us that it is an 18+ lounge. The owner was gracious enough to direct us to this family-friendly location instead, & we are so glad they did!
The food was absolutely fantastic-I ordered the goat meat ogbono soup with pounded yam, which was rich & flavorful, while the kids enjoyed the jollof rice with jerk chicken. Everything was fresh, delicious, & cooked to perfection.
The atmosphere was quiet, clean, & lovely, making it a great environment for a family meal. The kids had a fantastic time, & the service was top-notch. Truly a wonderful experience-we will definitely be coming back!

I am very unsatisfied with this food. It was my first time eating chicken like this. It felt like it wasn't cooked properly. i've tasted jollof rice all my life & I was very disappointed. I expected better from an African place especially being an African myself.
