général tao(32) soup(16) poulet(13) prix(13) combo(10) sauce(9) wonton(8) spring roll(6) chicken(6) vin(6) qualite(5) dumplings(5)The wonton soup was disappointingly bland. The broth lacked the depth & richness one expects, tasting more like hot water than a properly prepared stock. The sesame beef was equally disappointing; the slices were so thin that there was little discernible beef flavor. The service, however, was warm & welcoming, which made the contrast with the food all the more noticeable. Hopefully this was simply an off day, but based on this visit, the meal fell well short of expectations.
Expensive (60$) for 2 plates : beef broccoli & pineapple chicken. Chicken was delicious, though. Beef was ok. 5$ for a small bowl of won ton is pricey. 5$ for 2 small spring rolls is pricey. Forgot to include napkins & soy sauce. Lower your price a bit & we'll come back.
Food is tasty; but way to expensive for the portions you get. Fried rice to expensive for what you get; mostly rice with a few small peacs of shrip; not much scalions or egg or chiken. I also ordered Beef brocaly Black beans sauce; the take out container bairlly had any meat or veg; also way to expensive for what you are getting. Almost 50$ for 2 plates.
Merci beaucoup.
First time visiting. The gentleman working there was polite & took the time to explain the menu & make recommendations. The atmosphere was quiet & had a nice family-run feel.
The chicken udon was flavorful, with plenty of vegetables & not too oily or heavy, although the noodles were firmer than what I'm used to. The wontons themselves were tasty, but the broth was extremely mild & tasted almost like hot water, with very little seasoning or broth flavor.
Overall, the food felt fresh & relatively healthy, portions were fair, & prices were reasonable. Not a bad experience, but not memorable enough for me to return.
