It was our first time going to this restaurant, but surely won't be the last. The food was incredible, & the whole experience of being able to watch & interact with Chef Guillaume while he is preparing the food was very special.
It's the kind of restaurant that was missing in Ste-Anne's, a small high end food restaurant at a reasonable price. Can't wait to go back!

Très petit mes qui donne un service impeccable & tu voie le cuisinier préparer vos plats car la cuisine & ouverte. Nous avons mangé le steak de 27 oz avec champignon sauvage. J'en n'ai encore le bon goût en bouche. Cuisson parfaite. Je vous le recommande.View more

Quelle fabuleuse expérience nous avons eue ce soir de découvrir cet extraordinaire restaurant qui en plus, n'est qu'à quelques minutes de chez nous! Les deux propriétaires, Mario comme maître d'hôtel, & Guillaume comme chefs, nous ont fait sentir comme chez nous dès les premières minutes dans le restaurant. Il s'agissait de notre premier souper de couple depuis la naissance de notre fille de 13 mois, & nous n'aurions pu mieux trouver mieux. Chaque plat est minutieusement élaboré, soigneusement présenté, & exceptionnellement savoureux. Que dire des conseils impeccables d'accord met-vin, & des savoureux cocktails proposés au menu ou confectionnés selon vos goûts par Mario. Nous retournerons sans hésiter, & une prochaine fois nous apporterons tant notre famille que nos amis pour nous venter d'avoir un restaurant 5 étoiles juste à côté de la maison! Had dinner with my wife two Friday's ago for dinner. Everything was spot on; service, food, atmosphere. Had the cauliflower salad, burrata & the tartare. Spanish wine. Highlight was the tartare, but all three were sublime. Will return. Thanks to Guillaume & Mario for creating a formidable culinary experience/option in Sainte-Anne's that was a truly welcome addition to say the very least!View more

It was my (Ethan) first time in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, & after a long day of tour, I wanted nothing more & nothing less than to pass an hour over a delicious, exciting meal. Two options stuck out to me: either a well-acclaimed Japanese restaurant, or a new "seasonal" restaurant next to it. The former was unavailable for unclear reasons, so I checked the latter. Immediately, I was overcome by the comforting feel of the small restaurant, with its intimate lighting & simple but quirky decorations. There were only two working at the establishment-Guillaume & Mario-who made me feel like friends from the first moment. Needless to say, the provisions were more than excellent. I had never had steak tartare, probably out of some strange apprehension, but upon Mario's beckoning to try anything new, I felt compelled to try it out. Every expectation, from the lowest to the most far-fetched, was exceeded. What a dish! The tartare: a full-bodied pepperiness, slight tartness, pleasant garlicky-ness, & surprising hint of sweet vanilla flavour that even an hour after I can still taste. It bites coolly, with a delicate chewiness, testament to the fraîcheur of the locally-sourced ingredients. The beef marrow, of course, was its ususal ever-comforting sweet, fat easiness that I so adore, but now there was a pleasant salt & crisp to it. The cocktail-some version of a moscow mule whose name I've forgotten-started the meal I admit a bit awkwardly with its strong pepperiness, but worked in perfect concert with the meal. As I assured the two that they will undoubtedly see me again, I left through the doors a bit cross-eyed & with a dumb smile, but I was happy & life was good. & an hour later, thanks to this great meal, it still is.View more
