Afficher toutbrunch(142) breakfast(65) egg(47) toast(43) pancake(41) french(38) french toast(37) recommend(35) dejeuner(31) qualite(26) benedict(26) huge(25)We went here today for brunch at around 10-11am & it was quite an experience. The initial wait was tough probably 25-30 minutes on a cold, windy, Saturday in Montreal but once we got in we were welcomed with warmth from the staff. The food was amazing & the portions were quite nice for the price. We had the Indecisive with strawberry & pistachio flavored french toast & we also ordered the duck with black truffle eggs benedict. It was all flavorful & I was pleasantly surprised with the experience. Everything was great but the thing I loved the most was the potatoes because they were cooked & seasoned with proper attention that you don't usually have with most breakfast/brunch restaurants.
Ambiance sympa, assez sonore. Venir assez tôt si vous voulez éviter l'attente.
Extraordinarily good food, both savory & sweet. The shakshuka, the French toast, & the Benedicts were all exquisite, & the portions were more than we could finish. The weekend lines were very long, but we came early on a weekday & were seated without a wait.
This was on the tail end of a 6-day trip in April 23, we made from Alberta. Taking in Montreal & Quebec city. It was raining for the last day but still warmer than our Hometown. We start the day off here with some big breakfast for the walk ahead. The duck confit Eggs Benedict plus others excellent & a bottle of champagne!. We walked in the rain & took in things. Had a great time lots of great street art. The kid got a haircut. An we have some cool Old cd's now
BEST EGGS BENEDICT OF MY LIFE. You HAVE to try the SweetSavory + Crunchy, you won't regret it.
I took the salmon eggs benedict dish & I didn't like the vinegar onions way too drenched it killed the fine taste of the sauce.... For 26$ plus a 1 hour wait in the cold weather.... Not worth it!
We started with dirty forks & now, in hindsight, we think maybe it was an omen. The host & our server were really nice & we weren't too bothered by the loud music, but my companion's potatoes were cold & my unimpressive duck & truffles Benedict had eggshells in it. The taste of the dish was okay, but not great or was it innovative in any way. It felt a bit bland, like home cooking. I'd have more to say about my friend's eggs & pancakes but she's been throwing up all afternoon since she got home. I felt a bit nauseated but didn't get that sick. The food is overpriced, bland, & the portions are just too large. I wouldn't go back nor could I recommend it. Shame, because it's fun, service super & bathrooms - wow!
THE BEST BREAKFAST PLACE EVER! I'm not over hyping this place. It is so good. Every time I go to Montreal I wait an hour in a line just to go here & have the truffle duck Benedict. It's so incredibly tasty. Also get the strawberry or watermelon mimosas 🤤
Delicious brunch spot. Wish they were closer to home so we could go every week. The shakshuka was delicious, eggs Benedict was amazing, the sauce was delectable. All in all, amazing.
First time going to L'Avenue restaurant on Mont-Royal Street for breakfast, but not the last time. Like Andy, the waiter said to us it's the OG of the restaurant. It's a small, cozy restaurant with beautiful artwork on the walls. The bathroom surprised me with it decorations (I won't spoil the surprise. It's pretty nice!) I had the classic eggs Benedict, & it was the best I've had in all the breakfast places I've been. It has a little spicy kick to it, & it made it perfect. The pistachio latte was delicious!! & what can I say about Andy? He was so nice, funny, & very helpful. I will be back!!
Such a fun place with terrific food. Don't miss the truffle duck Benedict & banana French toast

My boyfriend & I saw this restaurant featured on "You Gotta Eat Here" & had to try it. We were not disappointed! Absolutely incredible & lives up to all the hype. He ordered the "Bobby Visite L'Espagne" & I had the eggs benedict "Sucre-Sale-Croustillant". My boyfriends meal was 3 eggs served on top of potatoes with chorizo sausage, spinach, & mushrooms. My meal...wow. Seriously wow. It was the epitome of gluttony. Two thick cut slices of french toast coated in panko bread crumbs before frying, served soaked in maple syrup with two eggs, gruyere cheese & hollandaise sauce. I was starving but definitely could not finish this meal. But each bite was total heaven.
I can't wait to go back. They have an extensive menu with lots of unique & delicious choices. This is my new favourite breakfast spot!
