There is certainly a plethora of restaurants to choose from in Montreal but few that measure up to the food ,service & overall experience that La Piazza offers.If I could give this restaurant & its great team 10 Stars -I would !We recently celebrated a 75 th Birthday with a group of family & friends .-Everything was absolutely wonderful The starters - An assortment -Platters of Fried Calamari , Fried Zucchini, Focaccia & Caesar Salad were a wonderful start to our meal .Our guests selected from mains that included - Osso Bucco,Vitello Limone, Linguine Pescatore ,Pappardelle Al Ragu D'Agnello.Each portion ( generous) was beautifully presented & delicious
.Every one thoroughly enjoyed their meal
( including our Italian guests AKA - Italian food connoisseurs ! ) .We had selected an Italian White & Red from a comprehensive list of wines offered at various price points.
Our event was on a Saturday night - a popular night with other groups of families ,friends & couples , the atmosphere was lively but without it being overly noisy or loud.
The welcoming ambiance coupled with the stylishly appointed dining room rendered the evening even more enjoyable .
Thank You & Kudos to Billy ( Manager) & the entire team who went over & above to make our evening a memorable one .Billy was of wonderful assistance in putting together a menu & fine tuning the details for the evening .His personable & prompt responses to our emails & queries was very much appreciated .Billy's attentiveness

I had my daughter's bridal shower at La Piazza couple of weeks ago. Our event was at one of their closed spaces at the restaurant which was perfect for our event. We had our privacy while there was another event in the restaurant area.
The food was great, service & set up was very well organized.
Guests had great feedback all around.
Special thanks to Billy Dessilas, the manager who was really great. He was very patient with all my questions, responded in timely manner & at the day of event, his presence & making sure everything is in order was very much appreciated!
I will definitely recommend for any type of event & will definitely come back for future events or simply have a meal at the restaurant.

I recently hosted a private event at La Piazza, & I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive & accommodating, ensuring every detail was perfect. The ambiance was warm & inviting, creating the ideal setting for our gathering. The food was exceptional-beautifully presented & absolutely delicious. The service throughout the event was seamless, with staff members always on hand to assist while remaining unobtrusive. I highly recommend La Piazza for any special occasion & will definitely be returning in the future!
My first time eating at this cute restaurant. I really like the rounded room. We had a reserved, private space for an event, & I suspect there is a second space behind closed doors. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly & very helpful. The food was high quality - very tasty & portions were great. I would not hesitate to host an event here. Highly recommend!
I recently had my bridal shower at La Piazza & it was such a great experience! We were able to have the whole restaurant dedicated to my party which was great. The staff was available early enough so that we could've set up our decorations. The wine, food, & service were all excellent! I highly recommend the braised beef as an option for the main meal. It was not only delicious but the portion size was very generous. Every guest had nothing but positive comments about the whole event. I'll definitely be coming back for future events!
Had my wedding ceremony & reception at La Piazza on Saturday & it was phenomenal! Joe & Danny were such a pleasure to work with & so easy going. The staff was outstanding the night of our wedding. Food was amazing! Got so many compliments on how good everything tasted. Would definitely recommend this venue, for any of your events. Thanks Joe!

La Piazza is our go to resto in St Laurent & has been for over 20 years. The food is consistently good & fairly priced. Even since COVID it has maintained its quality, service & prices. It has always been a quality over price place but where other restos have really jacked their prices up since COVID, this place has kept them about the same without shrinking the plate size. It kind of shows how other places are making the most of the COVID excuse. The same staff have worked there forever & are fantastic, friendly & very accommodating of requests for changes to the plates. In the summer you can have a beer & pizza on the terrace or the full service dinner inside. I have also attended corporate events there & they have also been well catered.

I love this place! The food was wonderful & the service was exceptional. Danny was attentive. He always checked with us to ensure that our water & wine glasses were filled. Moreover, he had great tips & fun tidbits to share! Even though it was busy in the additional rooms (salles), he was always present to make our experience a great one!

An excellent dining experience at La Piazza. Outstanding food, service & atmosphere! We love celebrating birthday events & are given the royal treatment every time! Kudos to all & especially the administration who create such an inviting venue!
My wife & I wanted to hold a reception for our daughter & fiancee. Question .. where We had selected a restaurant in
Griffintown but someone suggested we look into La Piazza before committing.
We had dined there on a few occasions & while
we always enjoyed our meals, it never occurred to us to hold an event there. I asked around for some feedback & heard
positive reviews. So we decided to check them out.
Met with Billy, told him what were are requirements, eg , number of people, kind of crowd, & .. oh yes the budget.
He came up with a complete plan, covered all our requests & then some .. that's what he does. We were impressed & decided
to hold our event at La Piazza.
Everything met or exceeded our expectations. The room was perfect. From the lighting to table setting .. right down to the placement
of napkins.
& the food was terrific ... From the hors d'oeurves, to the salads, to the main courses & desserts .. delicious!
The pacing of the evening was great, the staff was really super .. & most importantly, the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Could not ask for more.
So whether it be for a party or a quiet meal for two ... La Piazza - Le Challenger is definitely worth your consideration.

La Piazza at Le Challenger..... Perfecto ! !
We recently celebrated our parents 65th wedding anniversary at La Piazza. We visited several other venues for our group of 22 guests before deciding on La Piazza & we couldn't be happier with our choice. From start to finish, Billy was readily available to quickly & efficiently answer all of our questions & concerns, & he took the time to offer helpful suggestions. Billy really runs ''a tight ship'' with a great team & he made everything very easy for us ! !
The excellent waiters, Mark & Antonio, served us in a friendly, efficient & professional manner, but the 'highlight was the food. Each serving was more than plentiful, very delicious, of high quality, & each serving was attractively presented. Superb value.
We held our event in the main dining room, which was spectacular & private, bright, with nice soft background music.
In our opinion everything was outstanding & truly exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend La Piazza, along with Billy & his team, to celebrate a special event.
