Great discovery! I was craving Ramen & it lead us there! Doing dry January () I tried the dragon virgin ceasar & boy, it didn't disappoint! My fiancé took a virgin mojito that was very refreshing. We shared the spring rolls. They serve them cut like sushi. Very fresh with a great peanut sauce. The ramen was outstanding! He took the sweet & sour chicken & really enjoyed it. The absolute must try is the crème brûlée! Overall, from the moment we stepped in to when we were ready to leave, the service was perfect. Claudelle is a gem. They also sell the peppercorn Kampot which originating from Cambodia. Family owned & operated & it clearly shows the authenticity. We certainly will be back! Thank you!
Definitely will return when I'm visiting :) I loved the touches of decor, pictures, & plants that immediately transported me to southeast Asia. We were greeted by attentive & friendly staff who provided great recommendations that did not disappoint. Everything looked delicious so we all shared! Everything had amazing flavor, depth, & texture - I couldn't decide what was my favorite. & I have to add - the drinks are so unique & delicious, you have to try them! Drinks: Le Mekong Mojito - my first time having a drink with pandan & it was insanely good! Definitely a favorite. Tamarind sour - so smooth & flavorful, a great twist on the whisky sour. Mango sticky rice - tropical, fun, & delicious. Appetizers: Imperial rolls - perfectly crunchy, balanced flavors. Chicken satay - tender & juicy. Beef satay - tender, yummy marinade, went well with the dip. Courses: Pad Seew - perfectly stir-fried (noodles had the perfect texture) with the right amount of sauce & flavor was on point. Ramen alla marsala - wow, first time having a ramen like this & I enjoyed it! Beef lok lak - the beef was super tender & mixing everything together created a symphony of amazing flavors. Beef panang curry: the beef here was also super tender & the curry had so much depth to it, I could drink it all day! Overall, I would recommend :)
The ramen was delicious, but the highlight of my dinner was definitely the crème brûlée! If you like that type of dessert, do yourself a favour & try theirs. They do it with different ingredients & I personally thought it was even better than traditional crème brûlée! It might be worth just to go there to try that dessert alone. Other than that, we had the pleasure to be served by like the nicest waitress ever. She was super sweet! ☺️
When visiting friends in the Montréal area, Stephanie & I were taken by them to Restaurant Kampot. What a fantastic evening we all had there. We were rather surprised to find so exotic an establishment in the Faubourg shopping complex. The atmosphere, being evocative of southeast Asia was inviting. Service was prompt & efficient being, as one would expect in the region, provided in both English & French. First off was a cocktail & there was a lengthy list to choose from & the choosing was difficult as many were tempting. Those were promptly served & consumed while more decisions were made. It was difficult to decide just which appetizers to order so a sampler platter was chosen ... & that was an excellent choice! Eventually several entrees were selected from a varied menu which include specialties from Thailand & Vietnam &, bien sûr, Cambodia. All were excellent, the Cari Panang au boeuf, the Amok hommard, the Pad Thai & the particularly tasty Ramen alla marsala. We shared the Big BB bao; a unique & delicious dessert. When next we visit Montréal we will definitely be dining at Kampot!
Cute family owned restaurant! Love the drinks presentation (green jade + mango sticky rice) & the food was really good too (pad kra pao + ramen alla marsala). I liked the subtle cambodian references on the menu! 😉

La serveuse était excellente par rapport à ces recommandations pour les plats😍🙏🏻👌le ramen était délicieux merci

Cute vibe
Friendly staff
Loved the wings & the ramen marsalla
