Para ser la primera vez estuvieron muy ricos los tamales aunque la verdad esperaba los de maíz 🤭 y el cóctel de camarón muy rico y el agua de horchata deli, deseaba comer picaditas aunque llegue algo tarde 😬 no será mi última visita aún me queda probará más 😉 la atención excelente, gracias. Parecía que andaba en el puerto de Veracruz 🤗
Amé este restaurante, tan rico y la mesera fue tan linda, nos trató con muchísima amabilidad, es una persona tan linda que hizo nuestra visita un momento muy agradable.
I had the most enjoyable experience at Iris Restaurant. It was my first time & I was treated as I was part of the family. The service was outstanding & the food was incredible. I will be back as everything on the menu looked great & what we order exceeded my expectations.
La verdad la comida es malísima 🥺 y el servicio ni se diga. He ido 3 veces porque quería darle oportunidad ya que tiene mucha fama de que es rico pero en realidad solo es la publicidad de los tiktokers! La primera vez que fui tardaron más de 1 hora en entregarme las comidas y no había gente, le estaban dando prioridad a otra persona solo porque la conocían ó eran familiares. La segunda vez estuvo ok me atendieron bien relativamente y las picadas creo que es lo mejor que hay. Hoy fuimos de nuevo y mi acompanante pidió un'vuelve a la vida' que literal traía más imitación de cangrejo que nada, asquerosamente dulce y para rematar FRÍO 🤢. La verdad no se de dónde sacan que es rico no lo es… yo la verdad no vuelvo.
I used to visit this place often with my family, almost every weekend. Today, I came with a friend to enjoy some traditional Veracruz dishes, but the experience was very disappointing.
The server didn't take our order until 40 minutes after we sat down, & even then, things didn't improve. After waiting for our food, we realized the waiter never actually submitted our order. At that point, we decided to leave without even having a meal.
To make matters worse, I had to pay for parking twice. As a Mexican, I was left wondering: Was this the server's first day on the job? Were they inexperienced, uninterested, or worse, indifferent?
It's a shame because I always tip well to support my culture. Will I return? I'm not sure, but this was a huge letdown.
