Restaurant De Chou est un restaurant coréen très apprécié à Montréal, réputé pour une cuisine authentique, fraîche et savoureuse, avec des plats équilibrés et des portions généreuses à des prix raisonnables. L'ambiance est cosy et calme, pas trop bruyante, comme un petit oasis en ville, et le service est chaleureux et attentionné. Les plats phares incluent le bibimbap, le tofu épicé et d'autres plats de nouilles avec salade, soupe et riz, servis bien chauds et avec des saveurs bien équilibrées. L'endroit est souvent considéré comme l'une des meilleures options du quartier, un lieu intime et convivial à NDG qui attire les gourmets en quête de confort, de simplicité et d'un bon rapport qualité-prix.
The staff were super friendly. They explain the menu items & their spice level, so we could choose the right item. The food was in good portions & tasted great. Most menu items have a vegetarian option that is made with tofu instead of meat. Various options are available. I strongly recommend their spicy pork bibimbap!

Absolutely delicious, piping hot korean food served in dolsot stone bowls. This is some of the best Korean food I've had, & perfect for a chilly winter night or as a patio spot in the summer. My partner & I go here often, I'd recommend asking for chili sauce on the side to give your dish an extra bit of kick. We both eat vegetarian, but I've brought meat eating friends who love De Chou's food, especially the beef options.
We loved our experience! Such a cute neighborhood spot. The bibimbaps were so delicious, with fresh, quality ingredients! We had the tofu & beef ones. The miso soup was also very good - comes with the bibimbap (a very nice inclusion). Nice music & relaxing environment. The gentleman was very kind, his food & service were excellent. We'll be back. Amazing authentic food made, cozy & eclectic restaurant, & a stand alone chef. This amazing man serves & cooks all by himself. A little slow, but most definitely worth the weight. So many little knickknacks to look at & mouth watering flavours to eat on a cold or a hot day.
Nous y sommes revenus pour la 3e fois aujourd'hui. Nourriture authentique, fraiche & d'excellente qualité. On a pris en entrée le ttaekbokki. Nous adorons les dansak. Le gâteau au fromage Yuzu était parfait pour terminer notre repas. Bon prix.
We live just a few minutes away & decided to come here on a whim based on ratings & a craving for some warm comforting food - & it didn't disappoint!! The ambience inside was so cute with lights & plants decorating the windows. My fiancé got tofu dosirak & I got the seafood udon bibimbap & they were both to die for!! Not too salty or spicy, well balanced & delicious. The service was great too & reasonable prices! We will definitely go back.
Love this place! Family favourite neighborhood Korean. Have dined here many times & ordered takeout often too. The food never disappoints, efficiently & expertly prepared by the chef-owner who seems to mostly work & serve alone. I particularly love the spicy pork dosirak, although everything is excellent. Quiet, cozy & intimate space, ideal for 2-4 people who wish to converse. Great outdoor space in the summer also.

One of the best or the best Korean restaurant in Montreal. Small restaurant but the taste is excellent & you'll be well taken care here. Bibimbap & sundubu jigae are top notch!
I tried De Chou for the first time tonight & i couldn't have better things to say! amazing food, great service & a cozy atmosphere. this is definitely my new local NDG spot!
Cute & tiny 8 table Korean restaurant. Dim lights & soft music. Great place for a date. Restaurant is run & serviced by one person. Menu is tricky to understand for non Koreans or newbies - it took some explanation. All plates are prepared fresh upon order. Tasty
