Review Summary

Dada is described as a warm, unpretentious spot where Moroccan and Mediterranean dishes feel homemade and lovingly prepared. Reviews converge on generous portions and a menu that shines with couscous, tagines, kefta, mezze, labneh, hummus and pastilla, with standout notes on the chicken and lamb tagines, Mouhammara and the Dada cocktail. The bread is a welcome touch and many diners praise the balance of spices, comforting flavors and well executed classics. Service is repeatedly praised for being friendly and attentive, while the atmosphere is described as cozy, welcoming and family friendly, with a pleasant terrace in warmer months. Prices are considered reasonable for the quality, and guests appreciate the variety and the chance to try multiple dishes. Overall, Dada comes across as a charming, unpretentious gem that delivers bold flavors, warm hospitality and an inviting experience, making return visits likely to explore mains and favourites.

Must be the best Moroccan resto. The beef ball tomatoe sauce was a delightful start with Soft sweet naan. The fish & chicken has good aromatic & tender. There coucous is top. Very soft & you don't feel too much of that small starchy bits. So much food I could barely finish. Dad & daughter really cute & accommodating & enthusiastic.

Note, my preference only because I'm quite picky. I would put the olives aside it maybe have it seedless because accidently biting into it is no fun or break someone's tooth. I would have chicken & fish less cook as I love the softter meat rather than the lightly firm texture protein; but it was still well cooked. Also, if the price was just a bit lower I would come more often. I know cost of living expensive but in the 20-25 would be more frequent than 25+. Just an observation because I want to come back to try the Lamb. ☺?

The steak was perfection! To quote my partner 😁 We had the chicken tagine, 2 starters & dessert & every single item was sooo delicious! Highly recommend & loved that we didn't have to wait. The terrace was lovely in the summer & the waiter was really friendly.

Seriously underrated, a secret gem.

Fantastic Moroccan food & ambience. C'est excellent! Best in Montreal?

Delicious Mouhammara, unique with spice & molasses sweetness & lots of warm fluffy bread. Could eat that all day! The Kefta Tajine meatballs were tender & had a tasty spiced tomato sauce that also paired well with the bread.

The main sizes were huge, you are getting a great amount for what you're paying. Hangar steak was cooked perfectly to order with an incredible mashed potato puree & roasted veggies that melted!

The Caponata Marocaine had a ton of couscous with delicious tender eggplant & chickpeas. Very filling.

Not pictured, we also had the chicken tajine that was a mountain of slow cooked chicken & potatoes with sauce. Breast & leg had meat falling off the bone. Perfectly cooked.

I also recommend the Dada cocktail, a nicely balanced blueberry & vodka fizz. Paired well with the mezzes, especially that fantastic Mouhammara.

Service was rapid & friendly. Our host Camelia helped us when we asked for recommendations & we were not disappointed! We will absolutely be returning as soon as we can.

We visited this place with my wife in mid October. We really enjoyed the Tzatziki & fell in love with the Tajine Kefta, it was just amazing. We also had the grilled chicken, which, while slightly on the pricier side, was still good. The service was excellent, the lady that helped us was very friendly & proactively helped us translating the menu, as we are not Francophones & the menu was only in French.
