Reviews of Restaurant Cape Cod describe a popular waterfront spot with generous portions and a mix of seafood and casual dishes, with many praising items like lobster roll, clam chowder, fish and chips, and calamari, and noting an inviting outdoor terrace with canal or boardwalk views. The atmosphere and service are frequently described as friendly and welcoming, and some nights feature live music, but several comments point to slower or rushed service during busy times and occasional language or communication hiccups. Price points are mixed, with some diners finding meals expensive for what is offered, while others feel the quality and portions justify the cost. A few criticisms mention inconsistent preparation, such as fish that is oily or underwhelming, or dishes that don’t impress, and issues with the patio experience like wasps or close tables. Overall, Restaurant Cape Cod comes across as a strong seafood destination for casual meals and special occasions, especially for those seeking a scenic view and reliable seafood favorites, though experiences can vary.
Fish & chips were really the best! & portion is huge! My current favourite now! Also got chowder - truly recommend, yum! Place inside somehow well reminds me of seafood restaurants on east shore!
I came here for the first time, looking for a place to brunch at. Though there are many average reviews about the food, I personally enjoyed it. I would suggest coming to this restaurant!
We where recommended for the fish & chips, what is there to say, it looked good, but tasted watery & flavorless, we had high hope as when you come in you can see the kitchen & there is a good odor floating around, so maybe other item are better but definitely the fish & chips are bland.
Amazing seafood options. The Poseidon plate, at the time of writing, was big enough for 4 people with one extra appetizer. Our server was very friendly & helpful. We ate outside where an excellent sax player was belting out great tunes. The restaurant shows its age though & could probably use a little bit of a facelift.
