Restaurant Cape Cod receives mixed reviews that emphasize fresh seafood, generous portions, and a pleasant waterfront setting with outdoor seating and occasional live music, with lobster rolls, clam chowder and fish and chips frequently praised while prices are noted as high and value can vary. Some experiences describe slow or uneven service, especially at busy times, occasional communication gaps, and a few dishes that did not meet expectations; nonetheless the ambiance is often described as warm and welcoming and the staff as friendly, with a strong view and a casual vibe keeping guests returning for the seafood and scenery. Regulars appreciate consistent quality and the chance to dine al fresco, and many reviews mention planning a return for the atmosphere and the seafood.
I'll start with the food : even though the presentation was really nice, most of it was overly salty (cajun sauce, fries); in the fried seafood platter, the calamari was overly dry. Also, 2 of our party ordered whole fish & the rest of us were served about 20 minutes before them: we had time to finish our food before they got their plate (the restaurant did offer them complimentary soup though). As for the service, our waitress spoke only English & admitted not knowing a single word of French. The cherry on top was that she charged us twice the bill because the first tap'didn't go through', & we've been dealing & wasting time with trying to get our money back from the credit card company for a few weeks now.
A shame because the owner seems really lovely & the location is superb.
Absolutely fabulous place to be!
The seafood platter was delicious, the margarita pitcher was amazing, & the service? Hands down excellent!
If I could, I'd give it 10 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Thank you Alex for making my birthday so memorable! 🎉 If you want authentic good seafood with a chill vibe, you need to visit Pete's Cape Cod. 🦞🦀 The grilled octopus is A-mazing! IYKYK.
Restaurant Cape Cod in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue serves up classic seafood in a beautiful waterfront setting. The lobster roll & fish & chips were fresh & satisfying, & the Fisherman's Platter is perfect for sharing.
Service was a bit slow during peak hours, but the friendly staff & relaxing view made the experience worthwhile. On weekends, a live singer adds a nice touch to the atmosphere, making it a fun & lively spot to unwind.
A great casual place for seafood lovers, especially with the music & marina views.
I was there a week ago with a group of 10. It was the first time this year we sat outside with a beautiful water view. The food was fantastic!! We were all happy. I had the grilled cod, others had fish & chips & the lobster roll. The seafood was on display in the entrance & was cut fresh once we placed our order. We will be back .
The owner Alex was wonderful & the waitress gave great service. Thank you for the very pleasant evening.

The best place in Sainte Anne , the interior is really nice & the view of the terrace is so beautiful , the owner was very kind & the food was excellent , we had Poseidon plate , it was different kind of grilled seafood, I like the presentation & the taste is fresh & light , it's a healthy choice if you like to eat healthy.
Fish & chips were really the best! & portion is huge! My current favourite now! Also got chowder - truly recommend, yum! Place inside somehow well reminds me of seafood restaurants on east shore!

Amazing seafood options. The Poseidon plate, at the time of writing, was big enough for 4 people with one extra appetizer. Our server was very friendly & helpful. We ate outside where an excellent sax player was belting out great tunes. The restaurant shows its age though & could probably use a little bit of a facelift.
