Les avis convergent pour présenter Bellissimo comme une adresse chaleureuse à Dorval, avec une belle terrasse à l'arrière, un service réactif et des plats italiens savoureux qui offrent un excellent rapport qualité prix. La carte propose des entrées variées et des plats généreux comme osso buco, pâtes et pizzas, tous servis chauds et avec une présentation soignée, et l'ambiance est décrite comme authentiquement italienne et accueillante. Le personnel est globalement attentif et disponible, et les occasions comme les dîners en groupe ou les anniversaires se déroulent sans faute, avec des détails appréciés pour les familles et les jeunes enfants. Quelques expériences isolées évoquent des améliorations possibles côté service, mais l'ensemble demeure une valeur sûre pour les amateurs de cuisine italienne et de soirées conviviales.
We had a very nice evening at Bellissimo last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was good, simple Italian fare--veal with a mushroom sauce topped with a touch of balsamic reduction which certainly was a nice addition. The Calabrese Salad was yummy as an entree & the tiramisu was fairly ordinary but good. Staff was polite even though it was a busy evening, & we were delightfully surprised not only with the size of the wine list but that the restaurant charges the price of the SAQ plus $5....a real certifiable bargain. Best bets are the Table d'hote items, of which you will see several good choices. Dessert is extra, Ordering a bottle of house sparkling water will set you back $7. But they have a pleasant musical atmosphere there with a house vocalist. We will be going back!
The salad had the right amount of dressing & was very fresh, while & the mista, a combination of 3 appetizers, was a refreshing change from salad or soup. Soup of the day was minestrone & those who had it said it was excellent. The veal Pavarotti was delicious with just a hint of picante, as was the veal parmigiana. The veal was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Our party also had the grilled salmon & the lasagna - both were deemed delicious! Portions were a good quantity so you really felt like your were getting your money's worth. The vegetables were basic, broccoli, carrots, green beans & potatoes, but as one of our party said, they were the ones that she liked & so she "ate the whole thing". We did not have dessert as we were all quite pleasantly full. We really appreciated the quiet atmosphere that enabled us to converse & actually hear each other. The restaurant is conveniently located with a public parking lot across the street & another around the corner & just down a bit. My meal, with a gin & tonic to start, came to $50 - tax & tip INcluded. We left Bellissimo feeling very pleased with our experience & will definitely be going back!
We dined at Bellissimo on Saturday, May 12 after not having visited for several years. Even though our internet reservation was not recorded in their list, our party of 4 were seated without hesitation even though the restaurant was significantly busy. That was a big plus as we were entertaining out of province guests & would have been hard pressed to find an alternate fine dining establishment with availability at the last moment.
Service was very professional & not overwhelming or rushed, we were given plenty of time to enjoy our cocktails & conversation. We were also afforded ample time between finishing our appetizer & delivery of our main courses which sometimes even in the best restaurants is sometime too quick. The food was marvelous. The portions were very large but the quality was so good that the 4 of us initially commented that we would not be able to finish...Well our plates were all empty after a long & slow consumption, it was that delicious. The wine was priced right & there was a nice selection. We will definitely return on a nice summer evening to enjoy dining "al fresco" on their nice rear & private patio. Bellissimo will be on our list of regular places to go for a great meal.
excellente nourriture & très chaude en plus comme nous l'aimons...excellent service & serveur propose même un vin accompagnant les repas ( il mentionne le prix du vin car ce resto offre une formule intéressante, soit prix SAQ +$5). Un chanteur sur place contribue à une bonne ambiance même si bruyant pas bout alors que nous tentions d'avoir une conversation entre amis. Nous y retournerons!
Excellent Italian fare! Warm, cozy ambiance. Reasonably priced. Great wines at their SAQ price + $5. Gracious & welcoming staff & owner! In the warmer months, try their charming terrace!

C'est toujours un plaisir renouvelé de luncher chez Bellissimo. Bonne ambiance, bonne nourriture & bon service. C'est un restaurant sympathique, non prétentieux & abordable.
Premiere fois à ce restaurant & nous avons bien aimé. Aimons le principe de payer 5.00$ de plus sur le prix du vin & la bouffe était excellente. Nous y retournerons sans hésite
Très beau restaurant typiquement Italien, ambiance & service impeccable. Le menu, la carte des vins & les plats nous ont beaucoup décu par contre. Le choix des aliments est de moindre qualité & se reflete dans l'expérience global du repas. Beaucoup de potentiel, mais très mal exploité.
Saturday night should have had more staff. The waiter was not very attentive.
The food was very good & the wine prices were very affordable for some nice choices of wine.

My friend & I had an amazing delicious dinner (every aspect was absolutely yummy), our really great server was friendly, very accommodating & not over bearing, & the very talented singer sang familiar songs ...I noticed dining guests were even quietly singing along,... just like as me & my friend were!!! Where we sat was somewhat private yet also inclusive to enjoy the warm ambience.
This restaurant's prices are reasonable for the quality & portion. We both had such a nice dinner & evening. An amazing evening with great food & service. I had the veal scallopini & the escargots as an entrée was delicious. Great atmosphere, professional service & reasonable prices for food & wine. The waiter was always attentive but never interrupted our conversation. Very professional & great with suggestions. Definitely my go to place & parking nearby. Super atmosphere & all around always a good experience.
