Always a great experience & the food is very good. I enjoyed the calamari & grilled vegetables. My friend loved the shrimp & pasta. They have an excellent wine selection & the prices are very reasonable. With the current situation everything is handled very well & the service was terrific.

Bellissimo is the jewel restaurant in Dorval. Hamid, the owner, welcomes his patrons as guests in his own home. The food is of excellent quality, the staff is super friendly & knowledgeable, the terrace is so inviting & the restaurant is very cosy. The wine list is amazing, Hamid obtains excellent quality wines at a great price. I have been going for years, last night we were a party of eight & Sunday we'll be back with a party of twelve. Once you've been to Bellissimo, you will become a regular!

Delicious food, excellent service. The Caesar salad was fresh & expertly, not overly dressed. The Penne Carbonara was perfectly al dente, & the sauce was rich & flavourful, albeit slightly too much in volume. Wine is reasonably priced.

Average food & average service. The restaurant is small & feels cramped. The wine selection is limited & even the wines on special are pricey. For these reasons I would not go back & give it 3 stars.

Food great, but did not like the wine suggested instead of the wine I had chosen -- your wine was =very acecit, no body, notaste, not detectable aroma - definatly not worht the$ 40 charged , will never accept your waiter's suggestion again. But will be back

I made reservation at Bellissimo to celebrate my husband's birthday. Having been highly recommended by a friend who goes there on a regular basis, I was very much looking forward to that evening. The atmosphere, decor & aspect of the restaurant was very nice. However, we were seating at 6:30 p.m. & at 7 p.m. my husband had to get the waitress's attention to be served. The bottle of wine chosen, was no longer available, so had to settle for something else. I cannot hold this lovely lady responsible for the slow service. The restaurant was full, they were only two waiters & I must say only one was experienced. The food was very good, but we had waited long enough even to pay the bill that we decided to have coffee & birthday cake at another establishment.

We were 4 friends who wanted to do a lot of catching up. The restaurant was quite full but we were never rushed. Our waiter was available, but gave us all the time we wanted to order. We all had different meals. My fisof the day from the table d'hôte was absolutely delicious. Grilled trout with lemon, capers & white wine, served with delicious roasted vegetables. I literally ate every morsel on my plate. My friend ordered the chef duo pasta which was also excellent. Both came with lovely house salad with a delicious dressing. Another friend ordered a Caesar salad & pasta primavera, while the fourth had chicken parmigiana with pasta. We all felt our meals were top notch. We had the house wine. Throughout the service was excellent. We highly recommend Belissimo for its service, food & good value.

This is a fabulous restaurant with great value for your money. Specially the wine is nearly the same price as the SAQ so a great bottle of wine that i would not normally spend at another restaurant.

Have been to Bellissimo's on several occasions & their meals are amazing. Love their veal, lamb shank, pasta dishes & the wine prices are so reasonable. Slightly higher then the SAQ price. We had our bowling banquet there as well. Excellent service & everyone enjoys the atmosphere, music & ambiance. Lunch prices are also very reasonable & parking is not an issue. Was there twice in the last week & everyone raved about the meals & will be going back.

We had a very nice evening at Bellissimo last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was good, simple Italian fare--veal with a mushroom sauce topped with a touch of balsamic reduction which certainly was a nice addition. The Calabrese Salad was yummy as an entree & the tiramisu was fairly ordinary but good. Staff was polite even though it was a busy evening, & we were delightfully surprised not only with the size of the wine list but that the restaurant charges the price of the SAQ plus $5....a real certifiable bargain. Best bets are the Table d'hote items, of which you will see several good choices. Dessert is extra, Ordering a bottle of house sparkling water will set you back $7. But they have a pleasant musical atmosphere there with a house vocalist. We will be going back!

We dined at Bellissimo on Saturday, May 12 after not having visited for several years. Even though our internet reservation was not recorded in their list, our party of 4 were seated without hesitation even though the restaurant was significantly busy. That was a big plus as we were entertaining out of province guests & would have been hard pressed to find an alternate fine dining establishment with availability at the last moment.
Service was very professional & not overwhelming or rushed, we were given plenty of time to enjoy our cocktails & conversation. We were also afforded ample time between finishing our appetizer & delivery of our main courses which sometimes even in the best restaurants is sometime too quick. The food was marvelous. The portions were very large but the quality was so good that the 4 of us initially commented that we would not be able to finish...Well our plates were all empty after a long & slow consumption, it was that delicious. The wine was priced right & there was a nice selection. We will definitely return on a nice summer evening to enjoy dining "al fresco" on their nice rear & private patio. Bellissimo will be on our list of regular places to go for a great meal.

Excellent Italian fare! Warm, cozy ambiance. Reasonably priced. Great wines at their SAQ price + $5. Gracious & welcoming staff & owner! In the warmer months, try their charming terrace!
