Amazing place! The chef is an expert in Spanish cuisine. The place has a special charm & many details from Galicia (northern Spain). The Spanish tortilla with crab, & the octopus were delicious. My Husband & I had a delightful experience at Vivar with Patrick one of the owners. The food is fresh, delicious with beautiful presentation. Patrick's knowledge of wine was amazing, he had us enjoying a great variety of wines from around the world. The place is cozy & welcoming. If I didn't live 6 hours away I would make this my go to place tapas & wine. You must put this on your list of places to try!View more

This is my new favorite tapas bar place in Montreal. The food is simply delicious from start to finish. The restaurant/bar has that relaxed, fun feel, where you can catch a sports game while eating. What a great surprise! The restaurant has a great cozy ambiance & the service is incredible. The dishes were phenomenal, a real work of art! I highly recommend the octopus, it was superb, really soft & flavorful. The dishes are not huge if you are really hungry you might wanna order two. Will definitely be coming back here!View more
