Defy the ordinary and choose a restaurant where modern design meets tradition.
Overall, Le Kube receives praise for friendly, professional service and a menu that frequently delivers delicious, well presented dishes across seafood, steak, pasta and desserts, with standout items such as seafood risotto, calamari, salmon and a strong dessert selection along with a sophisticated cocktail list. The atmosphere is described as chic yet approachable, making it a good choice for a romantic evening or a casual night with friends. Desserts are often highlighted as a major plus and the kitchen is praised for careful plating and thoughtful pairings. On the downside, a few reviews mention value concerns and dishes that can be oily or overly salted, and a number of visits note slower or uneven service or drinks that arrive inconsistently.
The three stars goes to the waiters as they were all fenominal. I will also hand it to the chefs..really good job. Where this restaurant lacked was the seating service. I made reservations for all three of our meals. The first morning fine. The second day dinner I had to change the time as we got back late. Seemed fine but showed up to the concierge needing to see what room he had & the taking us to a dirty table while they cleaned it..that is okay if you didn't have a reservation but we did. We asked for a different table but were told it was reserved..only to see no one show up there. Note same number of seats at each table. Next morning same thing had a reservation showed up showed to a dirty table while there were two other nicely set tables ready. This table was tiny for a family of 4. We watched as couples were seated at these other tables. Pretty sure we were away polite & tipped well. But sure why we were received like this. Just a bit disappointed for spending about $350 there over the course of our stay.
It was a valentines day special included with our stay. There was a serious language barrier between us. I fully Bilingual in french & English. He was very preoccupied by something else. Not at all paying attention to us. I was offered a butter knife for a veal medallion ( because they ran out). The charged us our meals plus tip, after being told it was included in our room stay & service in tip was included in the price. The manager was way more attentive to us & saw other waiters being exceptional. I do have to say that the breakfast experience was way better. I wish I knew the man name but you could tell he loved his job & took very good care of us.
