I am so glad I made a point of trying out the hotel restaurant while staying at Hôtel Bonaventure. What a lovely, tasty, fresh meal. It was clean & comfortable, & my server was exceptionally warm & accommodating. I felt right at home. The soup of the day was a creamy potato & cheese, & served with fresh bread. I also enjoyed the Salmon Gravlax (pictured) - hit the spot!
Super slow service when you sit at the bar. I wish I had left the hotel & gone elsewhere for food. Staff seem stressed but are very inefficient. Also staff are not friendly.
After a full day of travel & finally reaching our hotel, we were pleased to discover a wonderful restaurant at the heart. We ordered Ballotine de poulet & poutine. Everything was presented beautifully with flavors bursting with every bite!
Tout était parfait excepté la trop petite quantité de céréale Raisin Bran dans la boite que vous vendez 8$. Cette boite, lorsque vendue seule devrait être 4$ pour que j'en prenne 2 afin d'avoir une quantité raisonnable à un prix plus acceptable, surtout que c'est le client qui vide la boite dans son bol.

The ambiance was quite nice & the food was excellent ! We took a 4 courses meal accompanied with the wine. It was just a bit heavy, but the taste was amazing !
Pour la partie MTLaTABLE nous aurions aimé une présentation des plats. Bien que les plats étaient vraiment délicieux. Une personne à notre table avait choisi poulet qui était très bon, par contre, la poutine était froide & le fromage avait une texture caoutchouc.
N'avait pas notre réservation alors que j'avais bien la confirmation. Nous ont tout de même trouvé une place.
L'entrée est arrivée en même temps que le plat principal.
Le Bloody Cesar était infecte.
Nourriture correcte, mais goûte le réchauffer ...
We had the best of Montreal dining & hospitality. We were accommodated & treated to amazing service not only by the wait staff but also by the manager. We returned to the East Coast with happy hearts & full tummies.
We had a reservation for 6 & didnt get to order drinks until 6:40. Asked for water multiple times. We had a concert to go to & got there right as it started.
