Restaurant 25e Avenue is described as a peaceful, welcoming spot with a family feel, a varied menu, and generous portions at good value, and the staff are typically friendly, fast and attentive. The pizza is repeatedly praised as a standout and the overall food is noted as tasty and reasonably priced, with many diners enjoying the lunch service and even delivery. Several reviews highlight a lively but well managed atmosphere, while others point to slower service during busy times and occasional fatigue among staff. Some comments mention the decor and freshness of the venue as areas that could be refreshed, but most praise the friendly service and the ability to accommodate families and groups, along with late night hours. A rare critique mentions an aggressive server over tipping, but such views are not representative of the consensus, which remains that Restaurant 25e Avenue offers solid quality and value for a neighborhood option with dependable food and service.
The food really wasn't up to par, not even mediocre. I ordered a chicken caesar salad, & they placed pipe hot chicken strips, on top of the cold lettuce! Who wants warm, soggy lettuce? Escargots were obviously frozen & very salty, not to mention served with a cheap, stale Pom bun. Service was extremely slow & the restaurant was very loud. Hostess was nice, about the only positive thing. Overall just has a trashy feel. Do not recommend.
