About us
Established in the heart of Little Italy since the summer of 2019, Ratafia welcomes you in a decor with Art Deco accents and a festive atmosphere. Whether it is to eat desserts on the plate or to discover the magnificent savory offer, the Ratafia guarantees an extraordinary experience, where each dish is worked to highlight the products and delight the sharpest eye.
The uniquely structured kitchen does not hide a great chef but five talented pastry chefs, who in turn take part in the creation of the dishes and enjoy working in an egalitarian environment where everyone has their place.

via LibroOutstanding. Of course famous for their desserts, but the meals & cocktails are also top notch. Love the decor & ambiance, a very classy & contemporary joint. Great place to bring a date or a (small) group of friends. Just don't show up hungry because the portions are very small.

L'ambiance nous a réchauffé, Jared & Mike nous ont fait découvrir de superbes accords & de nouveaux vins, comme à chaque visite. 🍷🍷 Notre coup de coeur de la soirée, c'est le nouveau Tartare de boeuf au menu ! Différent du classique, version jamais vue, les saveurs sont au rendez-vous ! 🤩🤩 Que ce soit dans le salé ou dans le sucré, des plats jamais vus, des saveurs qui se mêlent bien & qui nous font faire le tour du monde, c'est l'essence même du Ratafia ! 😋😋🤩❣️

I travel to Montreal for business about twice a year, & this has become a staple spot I will visit every single time I'm in town. I came alone the first time, brought coworkers the second time, & will continue bringing as many people as I can to discover this gem! The desserts are stunning in presentation & taste, the food & drinks are delicious, & they even have non-alcoholic cocktails! Every dish has amazing attention to detail with textures, layered tastes, etc. Just fantastic.

The food was incredible! The staff were attentive, exactly how you would want (not annoying lol)
Don't be worried about the small potions, it takes your stomach 20 minutes to tell the brain it's full, this restaurant times their food to perfection so that you realize you are full by the time dessert comes.
