It's a shame because my friends & I love board games but the food being so bad literally stops us from going back. PLEASE put some effort into improving your food & drinks or at least let us bring our own food!View more
Lilly was funny & helpful. We played games until late at night. Amazing job! 🤯🤯View more
I went there for the first time with a friend. We had a great time. Excellent service & game selection. We will definitely go there again.View more
Food blend & expensive, had to stand up 3 times to ask for the game animator, had to pay 2$ extra to bring outside drink, didn't tell us that bacon was not on the menu & didn't adjust the price of the food, games didn't match our taste & animator didn't read the room.View more
Nice spot , decent beer & 7 out of 10 on my food. Others with me enjoyed theres as much or more. My complaint is my french onion soup wasnt really hot enough, on top of having a shredded cheese blend on it rather than gruyere. With melba toast on the side. Also its 9 dollars per person to play games. A little expensive but it was a fun evening i would do it again.View more
The vibe at Randolph Pub is cozy, & the selection of games is fantastic, definitely a great place for a casual hangout. Our waitress was sweet but rarely came to check on us, which was a bit frustrating especially with the quality of our food & beverages. Now for the food... absolutely NOT worth it. We got an appetizer platter for about $24, & it had maybe 9 tiny pieces of fried food... not satisfying at all. Beverage options for non-drinkers were severely lacking. Their coffee machine was broken, so we were left with either a cheap juice option or their "bubble tea." I tried the strawberry bubble tea with lychee pearls, & it was atrocious. The strawberry syrup wouldn't even mix properly, it was gelatinous & tasted like tap water. I ended up spending over $40 here & left both hungry & thirsty. While this place has potential with its nice atmosphere & games, it falls flat in execution, especially when it comes to food & drinks.View more
We had Farah as a server & Renaud was there to recommend & explain games. We could not have asked for a better person to explain games to us. He knew right off what we would like & explained at the perfect pace for us. The server also made this experience absolutely amazing! She recommended the absolute perfect drink, was easy to talk to & quite funny. One of the best date nights we have had because of the staff!View more
Animator (game presenter?) was very helpful & found us a great game we'd never heard about, & it was a blast! He came around to check on us, see if we'd died yet, & was genuinely happy for us when we actually managed to finish & win the game. Food is good, little bit on the pricier side, but normal for bar food. Chips are fantastic, & I love the chemistry set DnD potion cocktails you can order.View more
I understand that it's a Friday night but I don't understand how there is so many workers yet not many that check on clients. We always had to get up & find someone to ask to order or to get a game (we even put away the games to give the hint)- sometimes more than 30 minutes to an hour of wait. Then the food is the typical shrinkflation, overpriced & small portions. & the atmosphere, of course loud as expected but hard for our group to play certain games without not understanding. Our mistake was to have 8 people, I recommend always going as a small group, less than 5 people to really enjoy Randolph!View more
The concept is great, & it would be amazing with small improvements. The person who received us was wonderful. Very clear instructions on how it works, cover charge, where the bathrooms are, self-serve water, etc. & made us feel welcome right away. Our server was very nice also, did his job well. Our game master was a bit disappointing. He seems a little young & could use some people-skills. He didn't recommend a game that matched what we were looking for but in his defense, he might have misunderstood (I asked for WORD games & he might have heard BOARD games. Although if that was the case, he didn't ask us to elaborate on what kind of board games. He just nodded & came back with some random game). I don't mind the game; I had an open mind to try new games while I was there. I really didn't enjoy his attitude, which really reduced the whole experience. After the first game, we went to look at the game library ourselves & was met with the first girl that greeted us. She was very courteous & helpful & ended up being our game host. If it had been her from the start, our experience would have been completely different. She was amazing at finding us games & adapting & explaining them to us. Side note: Apparently you are not allowed to take the games yourself, as we were rudely told by our first game host while we were browsing. That left a sour taste with me also. There are better ways to let new clients know of this, as demonstrated by our 2nd host. In regards to the games, there is a huge library of games, which is fantastic. While the selection is great, it lacks certain staple games such as chess/checkers, Mastermind, Uno, etc. But it's not a big deal if the target is toward trendy party games. The food tasted ok but the selection is very limited. I wanted to order more food because I love munching while playing, but there just wasn't anything that was enticing. I think it would be great if there were more appetizers. Overall, my friend & I had fun because the last game that was recommended to us by our 2nd game host was awesome. We would have stayed longer if there were more food selection. I would recommend this place but wit certain asterisks.View more
Food is meh. Ordered "fried chicken" from menu. It was NOT "fried chicken" but "fried" chicken tenders. That said, drinks are great & most people are not there solely for the food but for games! They have a great selection of games ranging from card games, quiz games, strategy games, social games, etc. However there are many games which may take a lot of space or are overly complex, which doesn't make them appropriate for the venue.View more
Very fun place with great service, good food & drinks. They have a large variety of games & the staff are very knowledgeable in board games. We definitely want to come back!View more
We went to the Randolph for the gaming experience. It was a lot of fun. Our first animator seemed to be new as she didn't seem to know the games very well. The food was disappointing though. We ordered 2 desserts & they we not what we hoped they would be. Overall it was a great experience.View more
This is a fun place if you just want to drink & play games. I have been there 5 times now & I have been consistently disappointed with their food. Do not get me wrong, the games are fun. Their drinks are good. The robot who delivers your trays of food is cool. The animators who know all the games are great at finding you what you did not know you wanted. But nothing has ever tasted good & I have tried different things each time. Also, if anybody in your party has sensory issues, it is very loud & very full of loud people having a good time, bring earplugs/headphones.View more
Server constantly telling us we need to spend money to play games (2 times) after we had already ordered our main meal. Trying to upsell us after already telling him we wanted a drink. Being rude during our stay but then magically becomes really friendly when we were about to select which tip to give (looking over our shoulder). All in all our worst experience at Randolph. (I want to specify this was just our server, the game masters were excellent)
It was way too loud we could barely play any strategic games because we couldn't hear each other. The waitress was great & assured us that it's not usually that busy on a Wednesday night.
First time & we went with friends visiting from Mexico that are not into board games but our animator Gabrielle suggested some greats games considering the language barrier & she even explained in Spanish. Awesome experience & definitely will be back!!
Thanks John ! He's Johny boy of the place. Always there to serve you like a prince. Simon a fan club of gaming. Étienne know show to play big Woody shaft game well.View more
Fun place to hang out, with a good selection of board games. Food was so. Lamb burger was meh, fries a little cold. Staff very friendly. Would go back.
Drinks & staff are amazing! Selection of games is endless. However the food is really not good. Tasteless & most item just taste like oil. Also the were out of chicken, nacho cheese & cow milk so they made me latte with oat milk without asking if I'd like that substitute
Drinks started a little too sour for the kids but our incredible server, Farah, was able to take that feedback & get them some different drinks that were more appropriate for their little palates. Food was excellent, the kitty was adorable, the game masters found perfect games, & Farah was such a kind, efficient, & attentive server. The kids are picky & she was able to make recommendations that were perfect for them. We had a wonderful time & can't wait to go back! Thanks Farah & company for making it such a wonderful birthday experience for my son!
Absolutely loved this amazing place, would definitely recommend to everyone even if you have kids. The concept is very nice, you get to choose your board game & play while waiting. The entry cost is 9$ because they let you choose from one of their game & it comes with an animator to help you. The food is also good but the atmosphere is great. We stayed there 3 hours & I’m definitely coming back!View more
We had an absolutely wonderful celebration at the dix30 location. Our server. Farah, was attentive & fun & well-coordinated between guests even though it was really busy. Our game master, Raphael, was very patient & did a wonderful job explaining the games. The food was hot & delicious & the drinks were amazing. We will be back to see these two again, soon!!
I love this place, food is good, drinks are great, games are fun & so many options!!! This time we brought our 17 year old & she enjoyed it as well!
Just ok this time around. We went to multiple different locations, but this one was just ok.
The waiter was kind, but there was one person to animate & explain games.
My friend got charge for 4 entries instead of 2.
Could of been better !
Plenty of games to choose from. Staff is friendly & helpful. Menu lacking healthier & allergen free options.
The main reason to come to Randolph is the games - to try stuff you've never heard of, never dreamed of, & to have a blast.
The food is reasonable pub food: great sweet potato fries, standard fish & chips, tasty & filling mac & cheese, very good draft beers.
This was a fun afternoon celebrating my son's 19th birthday, playing games, snacking & some drinks.
Service was pleasant & good.
