Review Summary

Queues de Castor - BeaverTails draws praise for its beaver tails, described as addictive with a dough that is crispy on the outside and soft inside, topped with a wide range of toppings from Nutella banana to pistachio cream, and for poutine that many find delicious and generously loaded, though a few note the cheese curds are not always squeaky. Service is repeatedly described as friendly and fast, but busy periods can slow things down since one cashier handles orders, and the space can feel tight with limited indoor seating. The venue is noted as clean and charming with a cute vibe and merch available, making it a worthwhile stop in Montreal's old quarter for visitors from abroad and locals alike, even as some point out hot chocolate can be disappointing. Overall the experience emphasizes quality and value, with beaver tails and poutine as the main draws and the atmosphere as a pleasant bonus.

Comida rápida e boa. Pedimos um de maça e um de chocolate com brownie. Estavam divinos!

Cozy dessert location. Not a lot of places inside but it's meant for takeout. Beavertails are always made fresh & the service was quick.

Delicious, but when we go there next time, won't get the ice cream- still delicious, but messy for kids (& grown ups too, come to think of it). You can't improve perfection with ice cream.

This is one of our favorite treats. It seems they are also a victim of shrinkflation, where they are much smaller than they used to be, even with over of the lowest possible food costs. The simple & limited products somehow takes very long to order & then get served? Some very simple "innovations" can go a long way.
