The service is repeatedly described as fast, friendly, and attentive, the space is cute and inviting, and the location is noted for its charm, though a few comments mention long lines and limited seating on busy days, and some critique hot chocolate as watery. Really sweet store & good pastries. We took the kids for second dessert & they demanded that we come back for a pre lunch treat the next day.

The Pistach-OH! Beavertail didn't disappoint. It was a crispy, indulgent treat that wasn't overly oily, which is impressive for a fried dough snack.

Beavertails seem to be a Canadian thing - since I'm an out of towner, I wanted to try. According to Google: a beavertail is'a Canadian pastry, specifically a flat, fried dough treat shaped like a beaver's tail, & is often topped with various sweet toppings like cinnamon sugar, chocolate, or fruit. It's a popular Canadian dessert, especially in Ontario & Quebec.'

I got the pistachio nord, which they were advertising. It's pistachio cream drizzled over the chocolate beavertail. It was pretty sweet, but it was also very tasty.

I visited during summer, & it was so hot inside. There was little to no AC. The line seems long, but it goes by pretty quickly. The inside is pretty with some seating.

Credit card/Apple Pay accepted.
No Wifi
Bathroom in the back.

This is one of our favorite treats. It seems they are also a victim of shrinkflation, where they are much smaller than they used to be, even with over of the lowest possible food costs. The simple & limited products somehow takes very long to order & then get served? Some very simple "innovations" can go a long way.

First time trying BeaverTails, it was a good sweet treat to have in the afternoon when the blood sugar levels start to drop. Tried two different flavours & enjoyed them both, the original was nice, sugary & dry & the apple pie was sweet, moist & gooey. If you haven't tried them then worth popping in to get a snack.
