Review Summary

Quartier Perse is described as a warm, family run Persian restaurant with consistently high quality, delicious food, generous portions and fair prices, where dishes such as lamb zeresh, chenjeh, koobideh and other kebabs are noted for flavor and tenderness along with comforting rice and soups. The atmosphere is cozy and homey, and the staff and owner are repeatedly praised for being attentive, welcoming and down to earth, creating a sense of hospitality that makes guests feel at home and eager to return for celebrations or casual meals. The BYOB option is appreciated by many, and the restaurant is frequently cited as among the best Persian places in Montreal and Canada. Occasional busy nights during festivals or weekends are mentioned, with the service described as generally good and sometimes slower when the dining room is full, but never detracting from the overall positive impression. Some readers suggest expanding vegan options and updating the website or menu, yet the consensus remains that Quartier Perse offers authentic Persian cuisine, warm service and an inviting atmosphere that draws repeat visits with family and friends.

Chenjeh was the highlight of the night so juicy & tender. I'd say my favorite persian restaurant in Montreal! We got table dish for two & it was more than enough, it came with salad/soup, tea & baghlava for both person!
The staff were very friendly & kind! Would definitely go back!!

A very warm & friendly restaurant, even if the service was a bit slow. The food felt home-cooked & the soup was really good, but unfortunately they were out of certain staple dishes when we came by (therefore impossible to give it 5 stars). The patio was especially beautiful.

The dips, the rice, the soup, the meats & the salad, all incredibly delicious. Bottom line....everything was great. We were seven friends on a Saturday night, Great comments from all. The service was outstanding. Thank you for a great memorable evening. Joe & Rosie

I saw the reviews & pictures before, but doesn't do the food justice. My first time at a Persian restaurant & I will definitely be back. Best kababs I've ever had! Pictutres here are the barg & koubideh, better than the stew IMO & I'm not a kebab person usually so that's saying something. The marinated olives in pomegranate & walnut, OMG! (Zaitun parvardeh). Even the salad & soup were delicious. The tea is a must. The only reason for not 5 star across the board is the ambiance/déco but it's about the food for me. It gave cabane a sucre vibes which was fun & family style but not overly romantic or fancy. Again that doesn't take away from the quality of food! Parking was pleasantly easy off a side street, & right next to villa Maria metro stop.

The quality of food was okay, but horrible experience. First of all we ordered "Ash Reshteh" BUT they bring us a stupid "unknown soup" then we waited for more than one hour to get our order which was not acceptable because other tables which came after us, got their order earlier. Also we were waiting for 30 minute just for getting our tea & finally after three times mentioning to them we got our TEA. Another problem was that my wife saw a "Centipede" inside of restaurant but none of personnel cares about the situation. & worst of all """""""""Mandatory tip on their machine!"""""""
