Review Summary

Quartier Perse is described as offering delicious Persian cuisine in a warm, welcoming atmosphere with attentive staff and a family feel. The experience is often praised for generous portions, flavorful kebabs, tender meats, and comforting rice dishes, with many diners calling it among the best Persian restaurants in Montreal. The BYOB policy and the option to share or choose from a range of dishes make it a good fit for gatherings or family meals, and the setting is noted as cozy and homey, ideal for conversations. Several reviews highlight reliable consistency in food quality, care in service, and a sense of hospitality that makes guests feel at home, though a few comments mention slower service during busy periods and occasional billing or reservation hiccups. Overall, Quartier Perse is seen as a beloved, long-standing, family-run spot that many look forward to revisiting for celebrations, casual dinners, and special occasions.

I've eaten at Quartier Pers before & always enjoyed the food, but today I experienced something even more meaningful ! That's genuine kindness!
I accidentally locked myself out of my car while it was charging nearby, with my phone, keys, & bag all stuck inside.
The lovely owner ,she welcomed me in right away, offered me tea, let me use the phone, & kept reassuring me while I waited for help.
When they found out my son's birthday is tomorrow, they even sent me home with food for him as a sweet surprise❤?
Moments like this stay with people!
Delicious food is one thing, but warmth & humanity like this are rare.
I'm truly grateful & so happy to have businesses like this in our Montreal Iranian community 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

We did takeout & since I'm half Iranian & from Toronto where we have the best Persian food, I can say that this is definitely the best koobideh (juicy & tasty) & Persian food in Montreal, we'll definitely be going back, everything was fresh & good quality & tasty, & they were very nice & gave us an extra side complimentary & extra tomatoes. The takeout was packaged very clean & nice & easy to carry out too - it was still juicy & hot & great after driving it home. I'm really happy that I finally tried this place & found a good Persian restaurant in Montreal, the only one I will ever eat at again. I gave it a 5 for Montreal but because it's the best in Montreal, but comparing it to California or Toronto - which has the best Persian food in the world... it would have gotten a 3.5.

I highly recommend this restaurant for its authentic iranian food. Don't forget to drink their tea & the Safran ice cream

This is an amazing find in NDG. I was going to another Persian restaurant, but now, will only frequent this one. If people would read the reviews first, they would see that the specialty is grilled meats. Vegetarians may not have many choices, although there can be grilled vegetables! Also, I did not see a problem with language here. We all speak (or should) both English & French in Montreal. Perhaps those not served in French & unwilling to switch to English should try Iranian.
