We did takeout & since I'm half Iranian & from Toronto where we have the best Persian food, I can say that this is definitely the best koobideh (juicy & tasty) & Persian food in Montreal, we'll definitely be going back, everything was fresh & good quality & tasty, & they were very nice & gave us an extra side complimentary & extra tomatoes. The takeout was packaged very clean & nice & easy to carry out too - it was still juicy & hot & great after driving it home. I'm really happy that I finally tried this place & found a good Persian restaurant in Montreal, the only one I will ever eat at again. I gave it a 5 for Montreal but because it's the best in Montreal, but comparing it to California or Toronto - which has the best Persian food in the world... it would have gotten a 3.5.View more

I highly recommend this restaurant for its authentic iranian food. Don't forget to drink their tea & the Safran ice creamView more
The restaurant is quite cozy, the tables near each other, but I liked the atmosphere! The staff was very welcoming & friendly & checked a lot at the table to get feedback on the food & see if we needed anything more. We were a group of 3 & we took a menu for 2 people (over 60$) & split the bill for 3 (20$/person) We got served enough for 3, I found the food quite good! Pretty pricy, but good quantities & taste.View more

The quality of food was okay, but horrible experience. First of all we ordered "Ash Reshteh" BUT they bring us a stupid "unknown soup" then we waited for more than one hour to get our order which was not acceptable because other tables which came after us, got their order earlier. Also we were waiting for 30 minute just for getting our tea & finally after three times mentioning to them we got our TEA. Another problem was that my wife saw a "Centipede" inside of restaurant but none of personnel cares about the situation. & worst of all """""""""Mandatory tip on their machine!"""""""
The food was dissapointing & the service was hmmmhhmmm negative. They didnt let us stay after 11:03 because they close at 11:00 . We dint enjoy our night & felt rushed . DONT GO THERE
Delicious food, nice iranian drink, very polite staff, & very good desserts. Definitely will go back to the best Iranian restaurant in Montreal
My friends & I certainly don't recommand this restaurant at all! This is a not place to take your time & enjoy your evening as they rush you with the menu & can't wait for you to leave!
One of us we not really hungry, so she ordered an appetizer for $13... Well, the waitress & manager as well told her that we are obligated to order a main dish...this is the law & hie it works in their country!
They really don't care about customers!
We are women from 55 to 65 love trying new restaurants regularly. This is the first tume it ever happens to us!
This is an amazing find in NDG. I was going to another Persian restaurant, but now, will only frequent this one. If people would read the reviews first, they would see that the specialty is grilled meats. Vegetarians may not have many choices, although there can be grilled vegetables! Also, I did not see a problem with language here. We all speak (or should) both English & French in Montreal. Perhaps those not served in French & unwilling to switch to English should try Iranian.
