Qing Hua Dumpling is praised for fresh, handmade dumplings with ultra-thin wrappers and juicy fillings, offering a wide menu that covers pork, shrimp, lamb, and vegetarian options. Prices are affordable and portions generous, making it a solid value whether dining in or ordering takeout. Service is fast and the staff are friendly and attentive, contributing to a welcoming vibe even when the restaurant is busy. Many reviews call it a reliable go to spot in Chinatown and note a lively atmosphere alongside consistently tasty dumplings. The soup options and sides like wonton soup and pickled cucumbers complement the dumplings, and the chef's surprises are often well received. While crowds and noise can be part of the experience, the overall experience is described as authentic and satisfying, with many repeat visits.
Ok, not to come across as too much of a dumpling snob, but I'm Chinese & I've been eating dumplings since before I could walk. & these dumplings at Qing Hua are BELOW AVERAGE. I looked up from my food at one point & realized that there were only two tables with Asians - I should've known better. I bet that everyone giving these dumplings 3 stars or more in this review section are: 1. Non-Asians who've only discovered dumplings in the last few years, or 2. Non-Asians who are absolutely thrilled to be served their meal in a steamer basket
Came here based on reviews & it more than delivered. We orders the chefs special of a variety of dumplings. It was nice to try a lot of flavors. Some had more soup than others but they all had good flavor. Nice & efficient service.

We arrived after 9pm to our hotel nearby & discovered that the kitchen was closed at many nearby restaurants. We luckily caught this place before the kitchen closed, & we are so glad we did! We tried pork & green onion pan fried & chicken & coriander & chicken & cabbage steamed & all were delicious. Fresh, juicy, & really well priced. We're here for a week & my kids are already asking if we can eat there again!

Service was attentive. Didn't look particularly touristy & was a bit off the Main Street. Which raised our hopes. For our taste, & I've been to many different Chinatowns around the world, it just didn't taste that good. Not terrible but lacked flavor. Our first order, arrived in five minutes so made me wonder a bit. To each their own. I certainly don't want to dismiss anybody's taste but also noticed there weren't any Asians eating here either.
Great selection of food options; we got an order of dumplings pan frying half & steaming the rest; good price for the quantity & tasted very authentic.
