We started with Peanut wonton (shrimp) which were so delicious & then moved onto steamed dumplings where I had the Lamb & Green Onion dumplings while my husband had Beef & Coriander dumplings & each bite was wow ❤?❤? So well made & juicy & our full compliments to the chef 😇😇 Cannot wait to come back to this incredible 11/10 restaurant & try other dumplings on the menu 🙏🙏
I used to frequent their Lincoln Street spot near Concordia-always my go-to for meals with friends, & it never disappointed. Even with new competitors, no other dumpling place matches their quality & taste. Fried or steamed, everything's excellent-especially the lamb & coriander, pork-leek-shrimp, & even the tofu. The Chinatown location has a great vibe & faster service than ever. Wishing them continued success!
We absolutely love this soup dumpling spot in Chinatown! The restaurant is a biiiit tight (it's a popular place), but the service is pretty quick. Our recurring absolute favourites & the beef curry & lamb coriander steamed dumplings, which are simply exquisite.
Best restaurant in Chinatown. Incredibly savoury dumplings. & way less crowded than Sammi! If you like coriander, get the Pork & Coriander. The Curry Beef is also super tasty. & be sure to get it steamed! The soup stays in the dumpling that way.
We come more often in this restaurant we never disappoint they have a very good steam dumpling & fry dumplings . The steam one is juicy . The fry one is crisp we love both of them ! We recommend pork leek & lamp coriander they are my favorite! The waitress have a good smile & good service ! Thanks again we enjoy here !
This place has never let us down. It's hands down one of the best dumpling spots we've ever found, & we keep coming back for more. Even during peak hours, when there's often a wait, the staff is incredibly thoughtful. They make sure you're seated as quickly as possible based on the size of your group, though larger parties might need a bit more patience. We've tasted their shrimp soup & hot & sour soup, & both were delicious. They also serve some truly authentic spring rolls. As for the dumplings, we've tried both steamed & pan-fried, but the steamed ones have won our hearts. Our all-time favorites are the chicken coriander & curry chicken dumplings. If you can't decide between steamed & fried, you can even get a half-&-half order for just 50 cents extra. If you find yourself downtown or near Chinatown, do yourself a favor & give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.
The dumplings were good for the price. Each plate comes with 15 dumplings. I took the chef's choice, the chicken & coriander, & the curry beef with two other friends & it was just enough.
Always so good! No 44 is my favorite, lamb coriander. Wait is never too long before being seated. Prices are very fair.
Easy, fast & tasty. Had 3 sets of steamed soup dumplings (lamb coriander, pork chive, chicken corn) & a very good wonton soup. I'd come back in a heartbeat.
We arrived after 9pm to our hotel nearby & discovered that the kitchen was closed at many nearby restaurants. We luckily caught this place before the kitchen closed, & we are so glad we did! We tried pork & green onion pan fried & chicken & coriander & chicken & cabbage steamed & all were delicious. Fresh, juicy, & really well priced. We're here for a week & my kids are already asking if we can eat there again!
Delish dumpling spot, really fast & friendly service- we were in a rush so they offered to serve our food directly in to go boxes. Lamb & coriander fried dumplings slapped, my mom got the shrimp leek & egg ones & said they were delicious.
Quick & fast, no frills Chinese dumplings. Got the classic shrimp pork & coriander steamed You can see the whole shrimp pieces so you know they didn't skimp out! Credit card accepted which is a plus in the area. 5 out of 5 jawns
Simple yet efficient ! The true nature of your dumplings are revealed when you take your first mouthful & get to enjoy the broth that steamed inside . Some of my top pick are : pork & coriander, lamb & aneth, leek shrimp & egg & the last one curry beef ! Lunch time is almost always full during the weekday so be early or late if you're a big group ! Enjoy !
Real rating 4.5/5
Food was real good, we had steamed lamb & coriander, pan fried shrimp pork & leek, as well as peanut noodles.
Service was a bit slow at first, menus took some time to get here, & it was quite busy so somewhat understandable. Found a hair in the noodles, we ate it anyway, & when we told the waitress, the manager came shortly after to apologize & offered the noodles & my beer on the house.
To offer the noodles on the house, that’s expected. To offer the beer on the house, that’s going above expectations, hence the 5 star rating.
All that to say, I’d go back!
Went for dinner here last night with 3 friends & we were a little disappointed. I heard many great things about their dumplings & frankly I was expecting more. We had fried chicken & coriander, fried beef curry, steamed chicken & mushrooms, steamed chicken leek & egg...the fried ones were good but the steamed ones were all stuck together which made it a tad difficult to pull them apart without it breaking, & the top part of the all the dumplings were a little hard. The taste of the filling however was delicious. We also had spring rolls that were cold, the coleslaw carrot salad was very good. The service not so great. They literally sat us down, gave us menus & came back like 30 seconds later to take our order, naturally we told the waitress we needed more time. I understand that there is a lineup but it's rude to try to rush people who are eating let alone people who just sat down! I'm sorry to say but I've had better dumplings & better service at another place & I highly doubt I will be going back here.
