Qing Hua Dumpling is praised for fresh, handmade dumplings with ultra-thin wrappers and juicy fillings, offering a wide menu that covers pork, shrimp, lamb, and vegetarian options. Prices are affordable and portions generous, making it a solid value whether dining in or ordering takeout. Service is fast and the staff are friendly and attentive, contributing to a welcoming vibe even when the restaurant is busy. Many reviews call it a reliable go to spot in Chinatown and note a lively atmosphere alongside consistently tasty dumplings. The soup options and sides like wonton soup and pickled cucumbers complement the dumplings, and the chef's surprises are often well received. While crowds and noise can be part of the experience, the overall experience is described as authentic and satisfying, with many repeat visits.
I ordered steamed & pan fried soup dumplings. They tasted good. The soup inside the dumplings looked to be mostly animal fat which diminished my appetite.

We've been to that restaurant many times, but our most recent visit was by far the best. The new waiter, who looked South Asian, was incredibly attentive. He came by twice to check if we needed anything, brought us water, refilled it without being asked, & even brought extra napkins. It was a really great experience, much better than the service we've had there before.
Soupe aigre piquante, soupe wonton, dumplings porc & coriandre & dumplings crevettes & porc tout était bon. Les dumplings aux crevettes un peu moins mais c'est peut être un goût personnel.
Customer service is poor here. Usually restaurants, come to you to bring water, ask if ready. But we got the menu ourselves & had to look which menu & I had to ask what menu we can get?
Overall, the experience was very good. While the atmosphere may not be the most stylish or visually appealing, the warmth & kindness of the staff more than made up for it. The service was truly exceptional, friendly, attentive, & welcoming throughout.
The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors & generous portions. A great spot for anyone wanting to explore & enjoy a genuine Chinatown dining experience.
Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for great food & heartfelt service!
