I've visited Punjab Canteen a few times & also arranged an event there. Although the food & service were initially good, my event experience was disappointing. After confirming the price a month in advance, I was asked to pay an additional $500 just three days before the event because of their calculation error. I already had printed their address in my invitation card. Service was horrible during the event. However, in this event they managed to serve okay food. (not stale)

Today, I bought samosas from Punjab Canteen, but they were stale & I had to throw them away. This experience has made me realize that both the service & food are now terrible. Even though there aren't many other Indian restaurants nearby, my family & I won't be returning to Punjab Canteen.

This restaurant is a scam! Anyone who gave it more than one star clearly doesn't know anything about Indian food. Everything they serve is old & rotten. I ordered a two-for-one chaat on Uber & didn't get the deal. I called the restaurant for a solution, but they didn't do anything. Then I went to Uber support, & they asked for a screenshot of the two-for-one deal. They literally removed the deal after I picked up my order, so there's no proof. To top it off, the food I got later was spoiled yogurt, & the papri was old & not crispy at all.

I had a great experience at this Indian restaurant. I tried the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, & chicken curry, & all three dishes were delicious. The sauces were rich, flavorful, & well-seasoned, & the chicken was tender & perfectly cooked.

The butter chicken was creamy & comforting, the chicken tikka masala had a nice balance of spices, & the chicken curry was full of authentic flavor. The portions were generous, & the service was friendly & attentive.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for tasty Indian cuisine. I look forward to coming back & trying more dishes!

I had a very disappointing experience at Punjabi Canteen in Laval. I ordered the Amritsari kulcha, but the taste was very poor & nothing like an authentic Amritsari kulcha. The flavor was off & the quality did not meet expectations at all.

Unfortunately, the dish was so bad that it didn't even feel worth the money. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this place if you are looking for good Indian food. In my opinion, it doesn't even deserve a 0-star rating.

Punjab Canteen is a fantastic spot for flavorful, authentic Indian food. The butter chicken is rich & perfectly spiced. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, & the service is friendly & attentive. Definitely a place I'd happily return to!
