A hidden gem in Verdun on rue Wellington, about a 5 minute walk from métro (de l'Eglise green line). A calm oasis of a carefully curated collection of contemporary fiction & classics also highlighting local authors. Check the website for book launches & upcoming events. If they don't have what you seek, they are wizards at ordering it for you. A wonderful addition to Verdun on one of the coolest streets of Montreal especially on the summer (Time-out) with the coolest & kindest staff.

Great bookstore. Lots of choice of mainstream reads but a great selection of books you might not see at a larger store.
Friendly staff & there is a café if you want a drink or a bit to eat.

This is easily my favourite bookstore in montreal, i love it here!
The owner, I believe his name is alex, is always so kind & helpful it really brightens my day!
such a unique selection of books (& everything being in english is very helpful to me as an anglo). I am sadly moving away in september & one of the hardest parts is saying goodbye to this bookstore😢

thank you pulp for being such a highlight during my time in verdun!!

If there's a book you don't find on their website, you can probably phone them or order in person.

I like to support local bookstores, & I always look forward to visiting Pulp Books: friendly staff; welcoming, inclusive atmosphere, ability to place orders.

The best people in the whole world. Not to mention the best coffee in Verdun. This place is a second-home to so many people, myself included. Please go to Pulp for all of your literary & caffeinated needs!

An amazing, curated collection of anglophone literature, including kids books. The employees are welcoming & very helpful. The cafe does fantastic in the back makes a mean latte--'cause we all could use a little caffeine while we shop!
