Review Summary

Pub Saint Pierre is described as a warm, bustling pub in Old Montreal with a cozy, authentic vibe that attracts locals and visitors alike. Reviewers praise friendly and attentive service, creative cocktails, a strong beer selection, and solid to excellent food that ranges from beef tartare and burgers to poutine and seafood, with many noting dishes come out well and presentations are appealing. The space has two distinct atmospheres upstairs and downstairs, offering flexibility for different moods, and the terraces in summer are noted as magical. Brunch and late nights are popular, and reservations are often advised during peak times. Some caveats emerge: occasional slow or uneven service, noisy environments especially during brunch or happy hours, and inconsistent menu items on certain visits, including fries that were overdone or tartare that lacked beef. The upstairs bar and the downstairs pub each deliver their own charm, and the overall vibe, drinks, and food keep many patrons returning despite the occasional hiccup.

Very cozy & busy! The food & drinks were absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the dessert I went there for was all gone. That was a huge bummer for me, but everything else was incredible.

Love the pad thai (my favourite in the city), love the staff, the music & the bar itself!

2 separate visits while visiting Montreal. The first was a 5* all the way. Service - we were made to feel welcome right away, the atmosphere was charming & warm, the company was the absolute best [my husband & son] & food, wow! The most delicious combo, grilled lobster/ grere sandwich with a spicy tomato bisque. The second visit, I was not welcomed at all. It was busy due to a trivia night which was obviously for the local crowd & everyone was very much engaged. There was 1 duece available but I was told that it was held for 8pm which was 40 minutes away. I almost had to beg to use it for 30 minutes so I could enjoy a drink & re-think where to go for dinner. It's unfortunate that the young man that greeted me didn't want to think of that option. I left after about 30 minutes, so did not eat.

Great little pub tucked away in the Old Port area. They had the rugby matches on, very busy on Saturdays, fantastic brunch fare. Great atmosphere & food overall.

Nice pub with fairly nice prices. The house beer & wine are quite good as well. The place can get noisy at times because of music our when there are too many people, but the ambience is sufficiently good for one to enjoy. There's a TV as well so you can keep an eye on the score 😉

After a day of wandering around as a tourist in the old port & indulging in some drinks, we needed some poutine. Pub St Pierre had delicious poutine, a variety of beer, & great atmosphere. I like the nautical tattoo themed decor. Tip- get some shrimp on the poutine!

Had a beer upstairs in the refined atmosphere of their cocktail lounge & felt right at home ordering either an IPA or a signature from their cocktail menu. I was dressed in business attire but would have felt comfortable in nice jeans & a shirt, but probably not sneakers
