Came in for a work 5 a 7 with colleagues. We were told that our reservation was valid for 2-hours (so far so good). About 5 mins after we were served a fresh round of drinks (close to the 2-hour mark), the staff came & told us we had to leave the table immediately. Our beers were still completely full so we asked the staff what to do if we were literally being kicked out of the table, they told us to stand up in the corridor (outside the toilets, in the way of staff coming in & out of the kitchen). We ended up walking out to finish our drinks (the 10C night somehow felt warmer than the cold treatment we got from the staff!), this caused yet another discussion with the staff. Never coming back!
I've really enjoyed sharing this anecdote with everyone I know... as people say:'your customers are your best advertisers!' interestingly, as I've shared this story with other colleagues & friends, many people have told me that the same thing happened to them!
Sloppy strategy Pub Saint Pierre, particularly when your clientele is made of local working people, who, like us, organize work gatherings often... we will continue to do this, just not at your pub!
Beer selection is poor but food makes up for that. Atmosphere is very big city pub with tourists mingling with local. Bar staff is not always friendly & not engaging, much like a big city pub. Overall, great food & fun!
Really good food, great cocktail listen with a solid wine & beer selection as well. Really small with Barrelmans cocktail bar upstairs. Suggest to get a reservation
So here's the thing. The food was actually fantastic but we were with two young girls ages 12 & 9 & they are used to more'run of the mill' ingredients & flavours & weren't very comfortable with the dishes they ordered. But for adults the food was quite good & some adventurous kids will be fine. The beer selection is good & a wide variety of cocktails available. Nice upper-end pub atmosphere with good music & service.
It was late, we wanted a pub to eat & drink. We got there & we could already tell we wanted in. The atmosphere right away is pleasant & vivacious with staff milling about helping customers in a pleasant way. There weren't any seats available when we got there but after a few minutes gave us a reserved table that likely punked out on them. Great beer selection, some microbrewery choices. It was late so our selection of food was with classic pub fare, which we were more than happy with.
Nice pub with fairly nice prices. The house beer & wine are quite good as well. The place can get noisy at times because of music our when there are too many people, but the ambience is sufficiently good for one to enjoy. There's a TV as well so you can keep an eye on the score 😉
After a day of wandering around as a tourist in the old port & indulging in some drinks, we needed some poutine. Pub St Pierre had delicious poutine, a variety of beer, & great atmosphere. I like the nautical tattoo themed decor. Tip- get some shrimp on the poutine!
Emma the hostess was awesome , she got me seated at the bar quickly, recommended getting the classic poutine & add steak to it. It was incredible!! Bar tender recommended a local beer & was also great!!
Had a beer upstairs in the refined atmosphere of their cocktail lounge & felt right at home ordering either an IPA or a signature from their cocktail menu. I was dressed in business attire but would have felt comfortable in nice jeans & a shirt, but probably not sneakers
Pub Saint-Pierre is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm & inviting atmosphere that perfectly blends rustic charm with modern comfort. The staff is incredibly friendly & attentive, making you feel right at home. The menu is a delightful mix of classic pub fare & innovative dishes, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Their craft beer selection is top-notch, offering something for every palate. Whether you're there for a casual lunch, a hearty dinner, or just drinks with friends, Pub Saint-Pierre delivers an exceptional experience every time. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy great food, drinks, & ambiance!
A British pub where I watched the England v Netherlands Euro 2024 semi final. The place was at capacity & screaming whenever something happened in the game. Just had a beer, which was good, but talked to a local who said their food is great too.
Great pub in the heart of old town. Loved the draft beer & Poutine 👉💯💯💯💯
The food is pretty underwhelming. Nothing was fantastic. I had the pad Thai & it was probably the saltiest thing I had ever eaten. I know chefs have their bad days but this was inedible. The beer was the best part. The poutine was just okay. Not sure if I'll ever return but if I do, I'd absolutely pass on the food. Seems like a tourist trap.

We really enjoyed our experience except we were overcharged for three beers. We ordered four beers during happy hour & only received the happy hour price for one of the beers at $7.00. We arrived at 4:30pm & left around 8:30pm. There is no way we had only one beer between 4:30pm & 7pm...please look into this. Thank you.
Great little spot! They have a snack menu that's available pretty late so even if the kitchen is closed you can get pretty hardy food! I also enjoyed the litres of beer they serve, I don't think I they did pitchers when I went so we each just caved & got a litre & then always means a good time.
