Unexpected late-night highlight in Old Montreal!
We stopped by Pub Saint Pierre late at night & were blown away by the food. I had the Lobster Pad Thai, which came topped with a generous half lobster tail-perfectly cooked, tender, & rich, balancing the sweet & savory flavors of the noodles & fresh herbs beautifully.
Paired it with a glass of the Ijalba Rioja Reserva 2020, which had enough structure & smooth finish to handle the bold flavors of the dish.
Great atmosphere, warm service, & easily one of the best kitchen-open-late spots in the neighborhood. Highly recommend if you want elevated comfort food well past standard dinner hours!
Stopped in for happy hour, some oysters & drinks. Loved the atmosphere & the service was excellent. Great selection of alcohol & food was yummy, we had the olives & enjoyed that it came with dip & chips. Small place so glad we were able to get a table & enjoy the pub!
Over-rated. IT is OK. IT is an average pub that has nothing so special that you would be like'wow...i gotta come back here'. Taster of food is OK-average, & service is OK, & atmospehre is OK.
Pub Saint Pierre was the perfect restaurant for our team welcome dinner on our retreat! They accommodated a range of dietary needs & each dish was delicious! The atmosphere was lively & the service was phenomenal.
Stopped into Pub Saint Pierre while I was in Montreal for work, & it reminded me why it's one of my favourite spots in Old Montreal. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, & consistently excellent food & drinks.
I always sit at the bar which is great for people watching & chatting with the staff.
I had the Saint Pierre hot dog & a classic poutine. The hot dog toppings wouldn't fly in Chicago, but in Montreal they absolutely work: onions four ways, horseradish aioli, cheddar, crispy kale, & a great dog on a great bun. Huge flavour from the first bite. The poutine was spot on too, with plenty of cheese curds & just the right amount of gravy.
Harry, the bartender, was slammed but still made time for everyone sitting at the bar. I stuck to beer, but the cocktails he was making looked incredible & judging by the reactions around me, they must have tasted just as good.
If you're in Old Montreal, you should stop by Pub Saint Pierre. You won't be disappointed.
A fantastic spot in Old Montreal! We ordered the Buck Schelfords Burger with fries & the fish & chips, & both were satisfying, hearty pub classics.
The atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out. Walking in feels like stepping into a charming old English pub, with its vintage character, warm ambiance, & unique interior. We happened to catch a FIFA match while we were there, which made the experience even better. The cozy setting perfectly complements the historic streets of Old Montreal.
Great food, great atmosphere, & a memorable experience. Definitely worth a visit if you're exploring the area.
Only got drinks. Can't recommend the beers here. Beer lines were in need of a cleaning. Guinness & bitburger tasted off, & the Guinness glasses weren't properly cleaned. Staff was nice & it is a nice space. To be a proper pub, they need to focus more on the quality of the beer.
Really cozy pub with great selection of food & drinks. Great service by our waiter Zach even though the pub was very full. We came to watch the USA v Australia World Cup game & luckily we got a table (without a reservation). Unfortunately, we're giving 1 star for the atmosphere because they were showing the game WITHOUT AUDIO. We overheard at least 4 tables ask for the commentary to be put on (& we also asked) but every time we were told that the manager only wanted to play the audio during Canada games! Essentially the whole pub was watching the game & asked for the commentary to be turned on. We saw a few tables leave because of the poor atmosphere & we were considering it too. The waiter Zach tried his best, managed the crowd well but unfortunately'manager' you made a lot of customers upset. Especially during the World Cup
